So, this was Summer's first pollen week while single in three years, so she was thinking thigns could get a little interesting at her Caritas shift that evening.

He'd already mostly made up his mind. He just needed a moment. But this could be uncomplicated and that was what he needed.

Uh-huh. And that was why this was a win/win/win opportunity. Most people didn't need a running tally of how many people they brought into the back room beyond their own.

Navaan, for example, couldn't even tell you how many people she'd banged and that was just tonight.

Stark slid 2 of the shots toward her, grinning a little.

"Is it?" Navaan asked, peering at him. And then shrugging and tossing back the first of the shots. "Yeah, but are you a slut? That's the important question!"

"Not usually," Stark said. "Sometimes...sometimes I make exceptions."

When there was pollen to deal with.

"You seem like the really twitchy nervous type," Navaan said. "You should probably slut more, see if that calms you down any."

"Do you think you can calm me down?" Stark asked. That was intriguing, honestly. "Are you going to try?"

"I'd like to be more relaxed," Stark told her. "I'm not always good at relaxing..."

"I've got a better idea for what you can do with your mouth besides talking!" Navaan suggested brightly.

That earned her a crooked grin from Stark.

"Let's do that then," he said, standing up. "Before I talk too much."

Navaan nodded. She had a feeling Stark could absolutely fuck up getting sex from even someone as easy as she was with his talking.

"To the back room!" she crowed.

Stark was talented like that, sometimes. But he was also talented in other ways and Navaan would, he hoped, at least not be disappointed.

"The back room," he echoed.

And lo! Off they went!
