So, this was Summer's first pollen week while single in three years, so she was thinking thigns could get a little interesting at her Caritas shift that evening.

Yeah, okay, she was definitely going to just focus on making drinks and slinging jello and insisting this was an absolutely normal Wednesday night, until something started to look decidedly more advantageous for her.

Well, maybe with a little help from the specials tonight. What? She was nothing if not an opportunist.

"Cal Kestis," he said, shaking her hand. "I'm starting to get used to that question. It's been about seven years since the end of the Republic. I'm from all over, but I was on Zeffo before I ended up here. What about you?"

"Well, the Republic is still very much a thing in my time," Lana said. "As is the Empire. It's about thirty years after the Treaty of Coruscant. And I was on Odessen; I still call it home. I don't think I'm familiar with Zeffo."

Cal did some mental math and his eyes went wide. "Oh, that's a long while ago," he said, before remembering something Rey had mentioned. "Which side are you on? If you don't mind me asking."

"I don't mind," Lana said. "I started with the Empire, but these days the Alliance I'm with has people from all over and all sides. We're trying to make our own way."

She nodded at his other comment. "I think I'm the furthest back except for Atton; he's from a few hundred years before me. I know three or four people from closer to your time, I think."
