Caritas; Wednesday [02/12].
Summer was in a very different place than she was last time the island was beset by this particularly sexy bout of whimsy, which mostly just meant that she was slightly annoyed and reluctant to head into the bar that day, but she figured it was good to get, you know, some fresh air and be a productive member of society or whatever. She did come prepared, though, repurposing one of her spray bottles that she usually used on Pancakes when she tried to eat plants and keeping it full of ice water to spray at people who were getting a little too...well...you know...
This was mostly to use on Tino, yes, and, at one point, she did have to threaten to upgrade the ice water to literal acid. So that was fun.

Re: The Bar - 02/12.
...Also, she liked it when he missed her. He tended to get creative.
Luckily for everyone involved, she hadn't yet become aware of one of the other patrons of the bar yet. "Well hello darlings," she purred, sauntering in and over to the bar. "I just have to have a bleeding heart."
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
But for now she was just going to lift a brow and grab a shot and set it down with a snort.
"One of the few time," she stated, "I can actually imagine you with one, Liliana. How's it going? Needed a breather?"
Ohmygod, if it wasn't that, this might be gossip juicy enough to get her to focus on something else for a hot minute.
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
Not-at-all sorry, Summer, your consolation would not be needed at this time.
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
For now, though, Summer was just shaking her head. "That man has really got to start embracing the beauty that is take-out. Seriously? Cooking? At a time like..."
She seemed to notice the jello shots in the corner of her eye.
"Okay, never mind, I think I get it. And also, I mean, he is, like, mortal, you might be saving more than just the meals in your immediate future."
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
"Mortal or not, he fucks like a champion, darling," Liliana said because why be modest? "If he's going to do all that training, I might as well reap the benefits of it." And, you know, push the resultant conditioning to the absolute edge. "And he did unbend enough to order takeout last night." Which was possibly why she wasn't allowed to bother him in the kitchen again tonight. Possibly. I believe the plan may be to make several days' worth of meals so my steward can heat them up when we've finally satisfied one hunger to indulge in the next. At least until the first takes over again."
Why did people hate this week? It was fantastic.
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
Like, priorities, Barry, come on! And last she checked? Yeah, still starving children in the world. Sounds like someone's brilliant mind was lacking a little post-nut clarity breakthrough, but whatever.
Summer looked at Liliana like she could think of at least one reason why she could be modest, because now Summer was thinking about it, and did she really need that in her head? And she almost wanted to ask how, if it was so good, then why was she here, but, again, she was thinking about it, and, yeah, no, she believed every word of it, and so she sighed.
To think, she was focusing on so the wrong side of catching a rebound on that break-up, clearly.
"Well, you'll definitely need the fuel for energy, I guess.
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
"Exactly," she said. "And..." She leaned in as if to share a secret. "The next time Ignis starts thinking that there might be something else he ought to be doing, I'll simply offer to leave again to give him the chance to concentrate. And that should take care of that foolishness immediately."
A good reminder of how much he missed her.

Which was why she was laughing again. It did very nice things for her chest. "I suppose if there was a real and true emergency, I would just have to deal," she said, because surely that was the only possibility of something that could hold his attention enough that she couldn't take it back.
...Since a certain King had died two years ago, of course. But catch Liliana bringing that up.
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
A beat.
"Very passionate."
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
"And waste food?" she scoffed. "My fastidious paramour?"
But she was absolutely going to mention it to him. Just to watch his reaction.
"There wouldn't even be friction."

Re: The Bar - 02/12.
The best of these weeks Stark had had, honestly.
"Thank you. You look well."
Yes, 'well.' Totally the word that best described Liliana.
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
Well, not really. He was still attentive!
"You do look well. Well satisfied. And well pleased with yourself. And lovely, as always."
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
She took a sip of her drink, smile going a little hazy. "And in a little while, I shall be returning home to reaffirm that as well."
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
"It's good to get out for some air," Stark said. Even if he had grumbled much more than usual about leaving Summer alone to tend to her jello today.
"And then very good to come back together."
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
"Mmm. I'm giving Ignis the gift of some uninterrupted cooking time," she said. "I'll be amply rewarded upon my return home."
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
"I'm sure you will be," Stark said after a moment of trying to think of something to say that wouldn't be too awkward.
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
She just gave him a bright smile. "I'd go into details, but Ignis is a private man. Sadly for me, I do so love a brag."
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
Although Stark was thinking, idly, about how some version of him had had a child with some version of Ignis. Just idle curious thoughts.
Re: The Bar - 02/12.
"Mmm, I doubt he's ever considered it overall," she said with a small, secretive smile, considering a particular phone call and his gratitude that she'd verified he was by himself before launching into her idea. "I'm sure I'll wage war on that at some point."
