Caritas, Wednesday Evening

Jarod whistled as he opened the bar, to the point where the zombies were elbowing each other in a knowing fashion and Tino kept hoping for some good gossip, which he wouldn't get. When it was quiet, Jarod once again worked on his laptop, closing it when he sensed anyone coming close enough to read the screen.

If Geordi could blink he would have, "what do you mean by future?"

That was a reasonable question around here if ever there was one. "Well, here it's the year 2007." he said. "So modern by our standards might be rather basic to some of the kids. On the other hand I think there's some from the past as well."

He thought that the guy's eyewear looked fairly futuristic, but he couldn't be sure.

"2007?" Geordi repeated, "it was the year 2370 when I left,"

Oh good he'd been right. "And back home for me it's 1981." Clark smiled. "This isn't quite your typical island."

"It must be," Geordi said as he mused over it, "I mean I have been back in time before but this wasn't quite what I was expecting when I took up the teaching offer,"

"I've heard that the students get very confused." clark said. "I'd have thought that the administration would have told the teachers what they were getting into though."

ooc: it just occured to me, but it's possible Geordie's VISOR would pick up on the fact that Clark's not human. up to you.

"I guess it's just part of the experience," Geordi replied, "it definitely won't be like my previous assignment,"

it could be possible, even though Geordi's unsuccessfully scanned alien life before. He most likely wouldn't scan someone unless he felt that he had a very good reason to.

"I'm not sure this place is like anything most people here have encountered before." Clark said. "It seems to intersect with several times and dimensions."

just throwin' it out there for future refference:)
