Caritas, Wednesday Evening

Jarod whistled as he opened the bar, to the point where the zombies were elbowing each other in a knowing fashion and Tino kept hoping for some good gossip, which he wouldn't get. When it was quiet, Jarod once again worked on his laptop, closing it when he sensed anyone coming close enough to read the screen.

A sign was posted on the door:

WELCOME TO FANDOM, NEW STUDENTS AND TEACHERS!

Isabel slid into a seat at the bar and tried to peer over the top of the laptop. "What'cha workin' on?" she sing-songed.

"Actually that fruity thing you made me a while back would be a nice change if you don't mind," she smiled. "So you're either typing up your plan for world domination or reading and or writing porn. World dominiation is cool, but porn is probably more entertaining."

Jarod lowered the cover of the laptop again and smiled at Lana. "Hello! You look much better."

She smiled back. "I'm much better, thank you. Though if you'd seen me last week before I handwavily got rid of my sling, you might not have believed me."

She took a deep breath. "I'm sorry I didn't come by sooner to thank you. I really should have. You were so good to me that day. I don't know if I would have made it without you."

Rose looked at him, startled. She was almost certain she's never seen the bartender before but he had a nice smile so she smiled back. "I'm very well but I don't think we've met yet?"

So he was here instead. "Hello." he smiled at the barmen.

Geordi had just arrived in Fandom and after a few minutes looking around entered Caritas. He hoped that this was the right place as he walked up to the bar, "um, hello?" he said uncertainly.
