Caritas, Wednesday Evening

Jarod whistled as he opened the bar, to the point where the zombies were elbowing each other in a knowing fashion and Tino kept hoping for some good gossip, which he wouldn't get. When it was quiet, Jarod once again worked on his laptop, closing it when he sensed anyone coming close enough to read the screen.

A sign was posted on the door:

WELCOME TO FANDOM, NEW STUDENTS AND TEACHERS!

The moment they hit the door, Rose turned and said. "This is my stop." And on impulse, kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you."

"You, you remember they way back?" he asked, blushing but managing a joke.

"Mmm... I think so." Rose said, smiling, "I'm an Earth Defender, after all. Not one to mess with, yeah?"

She began walking away, waving, "Good night, Clark Kent."
