Caritas, Monday Evening [OPEN]

Jarod was quiet as he opened the bar and taped the zombies (the drummer wanted to try something new and asked to be taped to the stool and drumsticks), then settled back behind the bar to continue trying to hack Parker's laptop for the information about where she'd gone the day before.

If he looked like he hadn't slept in over twenty-four hours, well, it was because he hadn't.

"I walked into Caritas, which had become a habit on Monday nights, and walked straight up to the bar. Jarod was working, and I noticed he looked tired. I tried to be as cute as possible when I gave him a smile and said hello."

And because this was Jaye, Jarod pulled a beer and smiled at her, thinking this was a bit unusual, but nothing to be worried about. "You're succeeding admirably at being cute."

Fraser wandered in for no other reason than he was growing used to wandering. He nodded at the bartender before taking a seat.

"Good evening, sir. What can I get for you?" Jarod asked.

"Just water," he said, smiling. "Still quiet in here, I see."

"Yes, so far," Jarod said, getting his water. "Do you come in here a lot?"

"I looked over and saw the Hot Mountie, and couldn't help but wonder what was with the hat. Was it some kind of source of power? Like some inner good-looking beacon that sent out some sort of signal? Did he ever get hat hair, and if so, was it really bad, or did he wear enough product to keep it looking neat?"

Fraser heard some of that and looked over. "Miss Tyler, did you say something?"

"It had been far too long since I'd been able to get Hot Mountie's attention, and though I was far from trying to date him or anything- because that's been a whole big story- maybe he would let me wear his hat again. 'No,' I said, 'why?'"

Rose entered the bar, she still looked exhausted.

"Hey, Rose," Jarod noticed her appearance, but had been trained not to say anything negative. "Can I get you something?"

Leo took a seat at the bar, looking at a pile of photographs. Some were obviously of some kids that no one in fandom was likely to know, some were obviously of spots around fandom, and then there were a bunch of blurry, poorly lit shots that could be ghosts, or really badly taken pictures at night or while the photographer was under the influence.
