The Fandom Chocolate Festival, The Park, Friday afternoon

Drax looked miserable.

That probably had something to do with the fact that he was standing under a banner that said "Fandom Chocolate Festival."

Or something to do with the fact that he was in the park, surrounded by chocolate sculptures.

Or the fact that there were weetiny chocolate bunnies scampering around.

More than likely, it was the fact that his regular leather pants needed to be washed and the only other clothes he could find were a pair of lederhosen that the previous dean left behind in the garage at 33 Apocalypse.

[OOC: Please don't ask me to explain my brain. There's chocolate all over the park. You can get bars of it or just take it from the sculptures and stuff.

Weather is modded so that we will not have isolated thunderstorms around the park, but the upper 90 degree weather will continue, which spells doom for the chocolate. Even the bunnies. Mwahaha. No, seriously, don't ask me about my brain.]

There was chocolate. And there was ice cream. And there were buckets and shovels. And there was a Mikey.

Mikey was totally sane. Seriously. He just really, really enjoyed squishing about in melting ice cream.

"Dude. This is awesome"

Smish sploosh smeesh!

"It's kind of gross," Donnie said, wondering why he'd let his brother drag him down to a Chocolate Festival in this heat. "I hope no one tries to eat it after it's been walked through." He was filling up a bucket with ice cream though and trying to determine if it would even be possible to construct a castle at the rate it was melting.

"It's all chocolatey, dude. And cold! And in this heat, one can never keep cool enough, right?" Mikey threw a handful of icey-creamy glop into the air and caught it again with a sound not unlike a splat. "Can't complain about that? And when the cool comes with cold? And chocolate? Dude, chocolate ice cream pizza... I'll have to keep that in mind for the future..."
Mikey looked entirely too thoughtful for a moment, then shoveled more ice cream into his pail.

Donnie grinned. "It is cold, yes," he agreed. "And smells a lot better than the lair when it gets hot." He crouched down and upended his bucket, making a somewhat questionably bucket-shaped mound of ice cream. Donnie frowned at it. "...This is not actually going to work, I don't think."

Mikey leaned in close to inspect Donnie's ice-cream castle... thing.
"Maybe if there was some whipped cream and an anchovie, we could pretend it was a sundae?"

Donnie glanced at his brother. "...I'm going to pretend 'anchovie' means 'cherry'," he said slowly. "Even though I know how things work in Mikey-land, and, frankly, it kind of grosses me out sometimes."

Mikey was rather fond of Mikey-land.

"Dude, I like Mikey-land." See? "There's skateboarding here. And music. And jalapeno and popcorn pizzas. You don't know what you're missing."

To illustrate his point, he formed a squishy fish-shaped blob out of ice-cream and stuck it to the top of Donnie's ice-cream-castle mound.

It slid down the side rather gracefully.

Donnie watched it slide and shook his head with a grin. "I've been a frequent visitor to Mikey-land for sixteen years, dude. I think I should be naturalized by now, even if I don't participate in the local customs."

Mikey considered this notion quite carefully.

"Dude, then I totally have to annoint you with Mikey-land war paint. You're practically one of the locals!"

And with that, a handful of ice-cream glop went flying in Donnie's general direction. Ninja ice-cream!

Donnie gasped at the sudden SPLAT of ice cream across one shoulder. "Cold! Mikey!" Grabbing a handful for himself, he flung it back at his brother and then leaped back to dodge the next one he figured would be coming.

And, of course, another handful of ice cream was indeed on its way the moment Michelangelo felt squishy cold ice cream smack him in the chest.

What? Mikey wasn't one to leave such important matters as Mikey-land war paint annointings unfinished.

Raph had recieved a handwavey message from Mikey. Something that very nearly all ran together, but had something to do with icecream and chocolate, and Raph showing up for it.

Raph had tucked Leo bunny in for a nap in his cage, and had gone to check things out. He was wandering up on his brothers having a lively-- What the heck were they doing?

It was about that time he got caught in the nose/beak with a stray icecream-ball, and everything became oh-so-very-clear. "AUGH!" Someone was going to get a very sticky noogie...

"Oops..."

This was Mikey attempting for all his worth to enter full duck-and-cover mode.

Which involved him grabbing another few handfuls of ice-cream and lobbing them off in any direction he could manage.

"NAKED NINJA ICE-CREAM FIGHT ATTACK!"

It was also entirely possible that he had been watching far too many Japanese ninja movies.

Seeing Raph, Donnie might have done a bit of flailing, which probably wasn't such a good idea while he was flinging ice cream in Mikey's direction -- and now Raph's, of course. "Eep!"

Scrambling away, he hoped that Raph would take it in the spirit of the day... Which was hot, and totally called for an ice cream fight, right?

Raph let out a menacing chuckle, eyes narrowing as he dodged a scoop. "Oh... You are both gonna get it!" He reached for a little plastic shovel, scooping icecream onto it with a wet 'ssshhhccloorp' as he grabbed for a second shovel.

Ok, they weren't sais, but he could hold them in a similar way, and Splinter did say they needed to be adaptable, and learn to use all weapons, right? Choco-icecream-flingin' shovels it was, then!

He let one drippy scoop fly, and then the second, aiming in the directions of Mikey and Donnie.
