Robin still kind of had no idea how she'd wound up doing this, but it was funny and she could laugh and drink and just enjoy her post-Valentine's glow behind the bar while everyone else suffered.

And in the meanwhile, she set out a pretty little sign.

That done, she wandered by to the stage to take the mic. "So, hi. You know how sometimes you're at a bar, and you just don't know how to talk to those pretty people you're eyeing? Or, you know, you want to know what the deal is with that creepy guy in the corner who won't stop staring? Well, tonight, we're taking all that guesswork out of it! Welcome to Three Minute Dates! I'm your hostess and deeply amused bartender, Robin Scherbatsky."

"So here's how it goes -- when I call your name plus someone else's, it'll be time for you to find that other person and either lemon law them or find your way to true love...slash a good one night stand! Or a bad one. It's part of the fun! And then lather, rinse and repeat for four more times, because yes, boys and girls, you're doing this five times."

Calmly waiting for his... 'date', he looked around the bar.

This was much different from the last time he had been here. For one, he was wearing sensible shoes.

Lulu wasn't in Caritas often, but she'd thought it might be interesting to give this a try. "Hello," she said, approaching. "I believe you might be my first date? My name is Lulu."

That made two of them, really. "Mine as well," He replied, smiling nicely. She reminded him of the companion house priestesses.

"Your name is also Lulu?" she asked, with a raised eyebrow. "I hadn't realised there were places where it was a male name."

"My first date as well," He replied, sounding a touch apologetic. "I d-- you may call me Bob. Most seem to."

"Ah, yes, Bob," Lulu said. "I rather imagine it would be your first date, as the evening is just starting," she added, with a slightly eyebrow raise. "Why do you find yourself on the island? Mysterious appearance? Or something more mundane and planned?"

He gave her a slightly confused look. "I took a ship here. For the position of librarian. Nothing nefarious, I don't believe."

Lulu nodded. "I didn't expect anything nefarious," she explained. "Merely wondered if you were one of those who came by choice or by chance."
