Caritas [Saturday evening] Three Minute Dates!

Robin still kind of had no idea how she'd wound up doing this, but it was funny and she could laugh and drink and just enjoy her post-Valentine's glow behind the bar while everyone else suffered.

And in the meanwhile, she set out a pretty little sign.

Three Minute Dates @ Caritas
Hosted by Robin Scherbatsky
Presented by loneliness and desperation*
* beer goggles recommended/necessary in some cases

That done, she wandered by to the stage to take the mic. "So, hi. You know how sometimes you're at a bar, and you just don't know how to talk to those pretty people you're eyeing? Or, you know, you want to know what the deal is with that creepy guy in the corner who won't stop staring? Well, tonight, we're taking all that guesswork out of it! Welcome to Three Minute Dates! I'm your hostess and deeply amused bartender, Robin Scherbatsky."

"So here's how it goes -- when I call your name plus someone else's, it'll be time for you to find that other person and either lemon law them or find your way to true love...slash a good one night stand! Or a bad one. It's part of the fun! And then lather, rinse and repeat for four more times, because yes, boys and girls, you're doing this five times."

[OOC: Three minutes equals ten comments for our purposes. That's five comments per person. Try your very best to get it wrapped up in that time. You do NOT have to do these in chronological order. Do them as people are available. Just try not to Joss yourself.

Remember, if you're violent, you'll be teleported out of the club and will have to make your way back. If you can't get through all of your dates today, you can sp, don't worry!

"I still don't like it," said George Michael who was testing the waters of his jealousy.

He... might like it.

"I might have to punch someone in the nose."

Mary figured at this point that Danny was not invited to the wedding under any circumstances.

"If you punch someone, the only thing you'll accomplish is getting kicked out of the club," she pointed out.

George Michael thought that was her way of saying he'd only end up getting his ass kicked.

"Mary, you might be older than me, but, uh, I'm the man." He thought that sounded good.

"And you do such a great job at it!" said Mary with her most sincere smile. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you, but once I found myself in this spot, I didn't know how to get out of it."

"...you, uh, might have to make it up to me later," he said to his beer glass, totally trying to keep up with his serious self.

"Any suggestions for how I could do that?" asked Mary, leaning over so she could run her fingers through his hair.

"Well, you have this pretty black silky thing in your second drawer. I... would kind of like to see you in it, Mary."

Pause.

"And that's only for starters."

Mary burst out laughing. "That sounds like a plan. And is there anything I own that you haven't seen yet?"

"Probably not unless you go and buy something new, just today," he commented with a shy grin. "I couldn't help it, Mary. When you were gone, I was lonely."

"I was lonely too," she said, squeezing his hand. "I kept thinking about you all the time."

Mary couldn't resist the shy grin. She leaned over and kissed him, not caring about the crowded bar that was probably watching, including her "dates."

George Michael was not about to turn down a kiss. Not from Mary. Not ever. He kissed her back and hoped to hell everyone was watching.
