Robin still kind of had no idea how she'd wound up doing this, but it was funny and she could laugh and drink and just enjoy her post-Valentine's glow behind the bar while everyone else suffered.

And in the meanwhile, she set out a pretty little sign.

That done, she wandered by to the stage to take the mic. "So, hi. You know how sometimes you're at a bar, and you just don't know how to talk to those pretty people you're eyeing? Or, you know, you want to know what the deal is with that creepy guy in the corner who won't stop staring? Well, tonight, we're taking all that guesswork out of it! Welcome to Three Minute Dates! I'm your hostess and deeply amused bartender, Robin Scherbatsky."

"So here's how it goes -- when I call your name plus someone else's, it'll be time for you to find that other person and either lemon law them or find your way to true love...slash a good one night stand! Or a bad one. It's part of the fun! And then lather, rinse and repeat for four more times, because yes, boys and girls, you're doing this five times."

"You act like I'll be asleep," he said. "And I know what you're going to say in response to that."

"The elderly need their rest," she said, shrugging.

"I'm offering you these cooked meals when I know what you have in your refrigerator," he told her. "You shouldn't be mean to me."

"I have..." Robin thought about it. "...beer. I should be nicer to you, yes."

"We need to take you grocery shipping," he said, frowning. "You can't live off a diet of beer."

'I have Triscuits too!" she protested. "Just not in my fridge."

"You need real food," he said, still frowning.

"Crackers are real food, and I order in a lot," she replied, frowning at him.

"We're going grocery shopping for you soon," he said. "If you have food in your apartment, I can cook for you."

"Grocery shopping?" Robin smiled at him. "How domestic."

"It would be both beneficial and informative," Fraser said. "And fun."

"You don't like shopping," she pointed out.

"I don't like shopping for things I have no idea about," he clarified. "I know how to grocery shop. I enjoy cooking, after all. If I'm going to go buy a swimsuit with you, you're coming with me to grocery shop."

"Okay," she sighed, nodding. "I can do that."

"Good," he said, grinning. "I think I have to have a conversation with someone. Do I get a kiss before I go?"

"...on the cheek," she decided.

"On the cheek?" he asked, frowning. "Why?"

"Because you're going on five dates without me," she replied, smiling and leaning forward to kiss his cheek.

He frowned again and tried to look sad. "These are not dates. They're just conversations."

"Maybe you'll get a real kiss later," she replied, grinning at him.

He frowned at her one last time before turning and heading to his first table.
