Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

Jolee and Tino were stocking plenty of clean glasses behind the bar. This weekend meant family. Family meant drinking. It was a fact of life. It's part of the reason why Jolee never bothered with a family after breaking from the Jedi: he preferred sobriety.

The preparations ended when the door opened and Jolee felt an all-too familiar presence. "I'm sorry, Tino, but it looks like you're on your own tonight," he said, turning to face Revan. "We'll be in the lounge if you need me for anything."

[OOC: I'm totally cheating and making this a mod Tino night. As stated above, Jolee will be in the lounge if anyone wants to talk to him specifically.]

"You mean how it's filled with Jedi and young people?" Revan asked.

"In part, yes," Jolee answered. "But it's more than that. People change at random into creatures or other versions of themselves. Monsters of local mythology appear every few months. And there's a great number of people here with superhuman abilities that have nothing to do with the Force on the surface. It's a very strange place overall."

"Not right now. So, why are you here?" Jolee asked.

"What, a man can't visit one of his closest friends?" Revan asked.

"Sure he can. But I'm not buying it. I've heard that you've been setting up some of us from the Ebon Hawk into new roles. Ordo's the new Mandalore, Carth's a bigwig in the Republic Navy, Bastila's a full-fledged Knight... The Force only knows what you have that psychotic droid doing," Jolee said. "As far as I know, you've got all of us set up except for Mission, Zaalbar, and myself," Jolee said. "And now you're visiting me unannounced."

Revan paused. He hated being caught that badly. It was time to cut to the chase. "I almost have my full memory back now. At the end of the Mandalorian Wars, on Malachor, I discovered something. Out in the Unknown Regions is a splinter group of Sith... TRUE Sith, descended from the time of Naga Sadow. They're the greatest threat to the galaxy I've heard of."

Revan didn't answer. "There will be another war. I've seen it. The only question is where it takes place. I don't intend to let them bring the war to the Republic. I plan on finding them and stopping them before they can."

"So, what, you plan on using your connections to create a new navy?" Jolee asked.

"No. I'm going in with as small a force as possible," Revan said. "The others are there in case I fail. By the time my war starts, the Mandalorians, Republic, and Jedi will all be strong enough to combat anything if they work together. And with those three in key positions and the Sith out of the picture, they'll be able to do just that. But they can't know what I'm doing. If they do, they'll try to help before they're ready. The galaxy can't take that."

"It's not going to be a pretty fight. I've been lead down the wrong path for the right reasons before," Revan said. "In time, I'll need guidance. You're the person I trust the most to provide it."

"And when exactly am I supposed to come help you?" Jolee asked.

"Trust in the Force and you'll know," Revan said. "Once I'm there, I'll be sending the Ebon Hawk back into known space. T3 will transmit my location to you from there. I trust that you'll be able to find me from there."

"You're putting a lot of faith in a retired man," Jolee pointed out. "I could just drop dead of old age at any time now."

"Like you'd give up life that easily, old man," Revan said. "I also need help with a couple of other things. First, do you have a place for me to sleep for the weekend?"

"... Yeah, sure. You can sleep on the floor of my hut in the woods, and NOT ONE WORD ABOUT THAT," Jolee answered. He wasn't going to offer Revan the apartment upstairs. The floor of a hut in the woods would keep him humble. "What's the other thing?"

"Do you have something I could unjam my mask with? A droid punched me in it during a fight and I haven't been able to properly remove it since then without potentially breaking the thing," Revan said.

"And you almost took over the galaxy?" Jolee asked. "Hmph. Yeah, sure. Find my hut in the woods later and I'll help you out with your mask issue. But get out of here for now. I have a business to run and you're scaring people off more than the zombies."
