Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

Jolee and Tino were stocking plenty of clean glasses behind the bar. This weekend meant family. Family meant drinking. It was a fact of life. It's part of the reason why Jolee never bothered with a family after breaking from the Jedi: he preferred sobriety.

The preparations ended when the door opened and Jolee felt an all-too familiar presence. "I'm sorry, Tino, but it looks like you're on your own tonight," he said, turning to face Revan. "We'll be in the lounge if you need me for anything."

[OOC: I'm totally cheating and making this a mod Tino night. As stated above, Jolee will be in the lounge if anyone wants to talk to him specifically.]

The zombies tried to gussy themselves up for the big weekend by trying to exfoliate the dead skin cells plaguing their bodies. Jolee had to stop them, though, because rotting skin was still somehow better than no skin.

For the record, Tino is perfectly willing to lie to any parents about how much their children come into the bar to booze it up. Just slip him five bucks.

Loki thought his first trip the bar was well deserved after a day like today. He ordered from Tino and immediately started drinking.

Worf was in a foul mood when he got to Caritas. Okay... fouler that normal.

"Prune Juice!" he growled at Tino.

And then settled down at the bar glaring at anyone who approached him.

Tully Mars and Willy singer came into the bar, and while Willy gaped at the Zombies, Tully ordered two zombies from Tino. "Here." He handed one to Willy. "To mark the occasion."

"Tully I seriously thought you might have been kidding, or exaggerating. I'm sorry I doubted you."

Adam thought Toby had totally been right about how great this bar was. Even without Saint. Of course, he'd take a hit if someone offered, but something told him that wasn't likely.

Martha decided the bar would be a good place to see what kinds of people were showing up for this weekend, and it was more than a little amusing to see students nursing drinks as she flagged down Tino and got a beer of her own.

Katie had finally escaped from Robin, and made her way into the bar to test out her fake ID. Turned out she didn't even have to, and that the nice guy behind the bar gave her a mudslide without even being flirted with.

Vala took a seat at the bar and ordered a Long Island Iced Tea. She loved Barney, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to miss being single. It was definitely time for a last hurrah.

Xan had escaped to the local watering hole in hopes that the goodie two-shoes berserker didn't hang out here. He found a stool, slumped miserably toward the bar and intoned, with great depression, "Life...is so hollow."

Daisy had spent all day watching, watching, watching, and she'd spent all of yesterday reading, reading, reading, so tonight? She was definitely drinking, drinking, drinking.

Brooke was moping. Yes, this was an emo Brooke. She'd kind of hoped someone would show up for her today, even if she hadn't expected it, especially since her parents weren't actually that far away. So getting what she did expect had been really disappointing, and that meant she was at the bar.

She was still debating whether she was vulnerable enough to start hitting on people's relatives or not.

He couldn't exactly hang casually around the student dorms to see what Katina might be up to, but David didn't need the background dossier his sister had shoved at him to know where else she probably spent a lot of her time. So here he was at the bar, trying to look as unobtrusive as possible while he people-watched and nursed a glass of rum and coke without the rum on the rocks.

"People" might have been a generous term to use for the band, granted. He'd be worried about what was in his drink if he hadn't seen them onstage before he ordered.

Lily had gotten the calls from Michelle saying that she was running late and would miss registration, so the idea was to just meet at the bar. It was a much better setting for friend reunions anyway, and so for now she was hanging out with a drink and waiting.

John's only real hope this evening was that his brother hadn't found the bar before he got there. And he celebrated the truth of that hope with a nice beer.

Where people can get away from any chaos at the bar by sitting at a table. But you might have to deal with a couple of Jedi over in the corner.
