Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

Jolee and Tino were stocking plenty of clean glasses behind the bar. This weekend meant family. Family meant drinking. It was a fact of life. It's part of the reason why Jolee never bothered with a family after breaking from the Jedi: he preferred sobriety.

The preparations ended when the door opened and Jolee felt an all-too familiar presence. "I'm sorry, Tino, but it looks like you're on your own tonight," he said, turning to face Revan. "We'll be in the lounge if you need me for anything."

[OOC: I'm totally cheating and making this a mod Tino night. As stated above, Jolee will be in the lounge if anyone wants to talk to him specifically.]

"I think Raziel's the main reason God tried again and made humans. Can you imagine spending eternity with a whole fleet of him?"

"Good second try, Almighty!" Loki yelled, sending a peace sign up towards the ceiling. Whatever. God would get it. "And no, I couldn't. I'd jump off the highest building and hoped I landed on a giant fucking sword."

"And since you're God, that wouldn't work, and you'd end up with a giant fucking sword through you and Raziel following you around asking stupid fucking questions about why you did it," Biff said, finishing his second beer.

"You know, I complain a lot," Loki said before reaching over to pat Biff on the back, "but I think he gives you a fucking reason to complain for the rest of your life. And I thought I hated the apostles."

"Yeah, they look like rocket scientists in comparison, huh?" Biff replied, signaling for a round of shots and helpfully pushing one in front of Loki.

"Oh god, thanks," he said and down one quickly. "He's pretty stupid, at least. You could probably put a lampshade over your head and confuse him. If he comes back and all."

"I'm totally trying that next," Biff declared. "Meet anyone else today?"

"A little girl," he said, sounding horrified. "Do I look like a fucking babysitter?"

"Like you might fuck the babysitter, maybe," Biff said, getting another round of shots, "But not the other one, no."

"Mmm, if she was hot, hell yeah," he said, nodding. "But yeah, no. Some little girl, talking to me about the boogeyman and her two dads and how one has a sword or some shit. And called me out on using bad words like she was my mother!"

Biff laughed at him. "You got yelled at by a little girl?"

"Shut up, Levi," he said and laughed. "Or I'll whip out my wings and go find your little butt buddy and bring him back here."

"You wouldn't!" Biff gasped. "Fine. No more shots for you."

Why yes, he was ignoring that he'd started it.

"Hey!" No more alcohol was a sad, sad thing to hear. "You started it! Telling me I got yelled at by some little girl. It wasn't yelling, first of all. She just firmly stated it."

"And she wasn't really a little girl?" Biff replied. "She was really seven feet tall and built like a truck?"

"She...was really a little girl, yeah," he admitted. "Look, I couldn't be mean to a kid. I didn't want to be struck down right there. That'd just been embarrassing."

"That's true," Biff agreed. "Fine, you can have another shot."

"It takes a lot to get me drunk, Biff," he said but took the shot gratefully. "I've been drinking for a damn long time."

"Well there goes my plan to get you hammered and really give Raziel something to be unhappy about," Biff teased.

Well, mostly teased. He was getting kind of tipsy.

"You would use me like that?" he asked, trying to sound offended. Mostly he just sounded amused. "Raziel might get jealous."

"Ew. Ew," Biff said with a shudder. "You owe me something strong and expensive for that mental image."

Loki ordered the next round from Tino.

"Look at that, I can buy as well as take," he said, sliding one over. "And Raziel might want your hot body. Maybe it would cure his stupidness!"

"I am not prepared to make that kind of sacrifice," Biff said, tossing back the drink, "but feel free."

"He wouldn't know what to fucking do anyway," Loki said. "Just imagine it. He'd be so fucking lost, the person with him would fall asleep."

"They could probably leave, have sex with someone else, and come back and he wouldn't notice."
