Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

Jolee and Tino were stocking plenty of clean glasses behind the bar. This weekend meant family. Family meant drinking. It was a fact of life. It's part of the reason why Jolee never bothered with a family after breaking from the Jedi: he preferred sobriety.

The preparations ended when the door opened and Jolee felt an all-too familiar presence. "I'm sorry, Tino, but it looks like you're on your own tonight," he said, turning to face Revan. "We'll be in the lounge if you need me for anything."

[OOC: I'm totally cheating and making this a mod Tino night. As stated above, Jolee will be in the lounge if anyone wants to talk to him specifically.]

"Oh you don't have anything to worry about. Caritas is a pretty safe place, your sister would know that," Chuck said. "And I'm here. I won't let you get hammered and do anything stupid."

"Yeah, she was my teacher over the summer. I come into the bar a lot when she works," he said. No, he wasn't going to mention anything that went on when he was Charles. "You look like her."

"People keep saying that," Katie said thoughtfully. "I'm a lot shorter, though. And I didn't know she taught. She hates teenagers. Like, she almost hates me."

"Really? She seems nice enough to me. She was teaching a class on debauchery," Chuck said with a smirk. "Gambling, drinking, all that good stuff."

"I think you wear weirder clothes than anyone I've ever seen, but yes, you're cute," Katie told him. "Plus hey, you're not crazy. At least not so far."

"Hey, some guy earlier slipped me a roofie in my cookies or something so I'd hallucinate him levitating stuff," she told him. "So far, you're not crazy, or drugging me. Huge improvement over the kid with the weird hair."

Chuck could have explained Fandom weirdness to her but, honestly, it just wasn't worth it if she's only going to be here for the weekend. "I see your point. I'm also not going to accept any cookies from strangers any more thanks to you."
