Robin was not wearing her Robin Sparkles regalia longer than she needed to. Which was for the obligatory performance.

So, for right now, the wig and graffiti denim jacket were tucked away, and Robin herself, brunette and irritable-looking as ever, was behind the bar and eyeing a bottle of Johnnie Walker.

Triela lifted an eyebrow and grinned slightly. "Any string quartets?"

"Not sure about that, but I know there's at least two violinists," Dinah offered, then nodded over to Fiona. "Her dad and her brother are here to play, and I've heard tapes of her brother's music, he's really really good."

"Really..." Triela said musingly. "When are they playing?"

Dinah looked at one of the program lists on the bar, and said, "Her dad's on pretty early, about fourth or fifth. Her brother's on somewhere in the middle. You might like the other musicians, you never know, right?"

Dinah grinned back, relaxing back against the bar. "So what've you been up to this week, after we got done racing on Monday? Did you get that bag in place like you talked about?"

"I went up to the dorm roof and found a spot for it, but didn't end up placing it yet. And Karla and I met and did some testing with guns." She cocked her head. "What about you?"

"More running!" Dinah started laughing. "Tuesday in the regular Reserves, you were there, and Wednesday in the Magic Reserves, a game of tag with shields, and then Thursday in Superhero Fashion class. I feel like I should sign up for a marathon. And oh, you showed Karla the gun range? How did that go?"

"It was interesting. Her shields are actually quite impressive."

"I've seen them when we were playing. Are they kinda bullet-proof?" Dinah wondered.

"Kind of," Triela nodded. "She's fine with most pistols, and can hold out for quite a while against most military weapons." Triela grinned, "But if she ever needs to take someone out back where she's from, we figured out how to do that too."

Disturbing subject is still disturbing. Even if necessary. "Probably more likely than not," Dinah said, her voice subdued. "Those are not good people in charge back there."

"That's the impression I was getting, yeah." Karla hadn't really given Triela many details, but it wasn't like she was stupid.

"Anyway. Glad she's checking in with you for that." Which reminded Dinah. "Are you going back to the Clinic, soon? And not to see Ino?"

Triela blinked, taking a silent moment to consider that. "I can. If... you think it's a good idea." The last time hadn't gone spectacularly well, after all.

"I do, Triela." Maybe they could find a way to modify the Conditioning, though she'd never say that, even if that had been a secret hope for months. "At the least? They can keep you stable, and out of pain, if you have to go back to Italy after you get hurt here. I know talking to Ino was rough, but." Dinah blew out a breath. "I'll go with you if you want. And I don't want them hurting you on accident, of all stupid things, if you get knocked out. They should know what they're dealing with if you end up unconscious there."

Triela thought about it. She knew that left to her own devices she'd put it off forever. So... "Tomorrow maybe? Or sometime early next week."

"Monday maybe? Or Tuesday?" Dinah offered. Whatever day it was that Ino wasn't on-call. "That work?"
