Fight Club, Atlas Gym, Sunday Night

Today's Very Special Edition of Fight Club was being brought to you by two things; Ghanima was running late so Tyler was in charge on his own, and Anakin had offered a dare.

Figuring he might not get the chance again, Tyler had quickly curtained off a segment of the gym area and set a few things up behind it. "Hi," he said laconically. "I'm back, and Ghanima will be here a little later. Before the fighting, I wanted to talk to you about the next phase of fight club."

He was not catching Anakin's eye if he was there for this. He'd laugh if he did.

"In Phase 2, we start trying to look good while we fight. Neat hair, nice workout clothes, manicured nails. if you're ready for that, go behind the curtain and get ready. Don't forget the hair gel."

"If you aren't ready, stay out here and fight. I won't judge. I think it's time for a match for ... you and you, wizard-boy and blondie, you, you, you and definitely you. Go for it."

He was impressed he'd gotten through that without laughing.

Arthur arrived - as he did - and managed not to have a mild medieval spazz attack at Morgana's match by being distracted by sizing up Max.

Well, that, and the fact that he'd trained Dinah and Morgana both (or at least had so entirely not been beaten by the latter in childhood, no), so he was fairly confident he knew how that match would fare.

Having gotten back from California earlier, Jaina was here and feeling more ready than she had in previous weeks. And if she was trying not to laugh at the "look pretty to fight" thing, well. Blame Rose.

Karla boggled a bit. She was varely good enough to get to the 'and fight' part of the equation, never mind stress about how she looked while doing it.

Hell's fire, in her normal days, she barely stressed how she looked.

The joke went over Kyle's head, but that was nothing new. He opted out of the fancy stuff anyway and started to warm up the way he'd seen others do it. After missing his work shift yesterday, he was just glad he hadn't missed Fight Club as well.

He stood watching the crowd gathered, waiting for his fight with Edward.

Lots of other things -- nail clippers and tweezers and mascara and stuff -- but mostly? Hair gel.

Have a makeover before you fight.

Anakin had done very well not cracking into girlish giggles laughter during Tyler's introduction.

Looking completely solemn, he went behind the curtain to make sure his hair looked appropriately fabulous before getting into a fight.

He might be up for teaching people how to dramatically drop their cloaks before engaging in battle, too, but that was probably step three.

Max was... a lot of brawn. Which meant Arthur would once again have to settle on his speed and hope to God it would be any kind of match. Still, he wasn't about to walk out on a fight, so he strode forwards and got settled on the mat, into position.

Ghanima did indeed arrive, albeit a bit late, and was a bit surprised at what she found.

She wasn't quite sure if she should blame Tyler One or Tyler Two, and although both was sounding like a fantastic option...
