"People," Tyler said, looking around the gym. A slight sniffle roughened his voice. "Lots of people. You all came back."

"Which is good, since if they didn't come back, we wouldn't have anyone to boss around," Ghanima pointed out. "Or hit."

"You guys can hit," Tyler said wistfully. "I'm pretty sure I'd give my cold to anybody if I did. I'm just observing today, since apparently I'm the kind of" -- holy word you don't want to use in front of students there, Tyler! -- "person who worries about germs now."

"Next thing we know, you'll be telling people to get off your lawn and futzing about the 'good old days,'" Ghani replied dryly. "Okay. You and you. You. With her. Smile, you with the tiger, you're fighting him."

"Tyler?"

"I am not old," he said sulkily, and folded his arms to survey the crowd. "Oh, him and her, her and him, him and him."

"Go to it."

Rose was getting so very familiar with this gym. She might be in it more than she was in her dorm room, and when she settled down to stretch and people-watch, it was a pretty comfortable Rose who did so.

Little bit less comfortable after her name was called. The spar wasn't as big of a deal as the fact a Russian mentor was going to be judging everything, yeah.

Arthur arrived looking... still a bit banged-up after yesterday's fight with Deadpool, but eager to get back into it.

Slightly less so after he found out he was set to fight a woman. Lovely.

Cable arrived with a child who was... spending rather a lot of time munching on a rag doll, settled in, and watched the proceedings.

Jak was here again, fit and ready, and maybe a little disappointed he didn't have a fight this week. Oh well. Next week! And otherwise, he was just going to do his best to look totally available.

It was rare that Dimitri arrived after other people when he came to the gym, but this was the case today. He took up a spot against the wall and was surprised that he'd get to spar and watch his trainee spar all in the same evening.

Leto was there this evening. He didn't expect this fight club to be as interesting as the one the previous week, but he certainly wasn't going to miss it.

Azula crossed her arms, not really looking for mingling. The last week was... interesting and unsettling on a personal front.

She was more than ready for the simplicity a spar can bring.

FIGHT CLUB!

That wave of excitement and power that Minsc felt at the beginning of every meeting would never, ever get old. He cracked all the appropriate (and a few probably inappropriate in their 'how does he even crack that?' fashion) parts and got ready for...FIGHTING! Huzzah!

If Turtle looked...vaguely harried as she sat on the pats with a pout and a lot of occasional huffs, it was because, well, she was.

You spend several hours trying to get out of a missing dimension in your closet and not be a little annoyed about it the next day. It really didn't help that it left her a little energy drained and drained of another date.

Turtle was definitely not in the condition to try swinging fists at people who were better than her today, so she was taking it easy and just focusing on her basics on the training mats.

The way Azula stood there was deceptive. It appeared as if she were standing there, completely relaxed and open. In truth she was ready for action, prepared to shift and strike at a moment's notice.

No bending here but hand-to-hand combat was still fighting.
