Parents' Weekend Brunch, Sunday Morning to Afternoon, The Park

As was traditional, the start of the end of Parents' Weekend featured plenty of food, benches, chairs, and coffee in the park. After all, the Student Council couldn't let the parents be weirded out one last time without a feast.

The sky was a little overcast, but the temperatures were still above normal, which was a lucky break for the final day of the weekend.

"Fuuuuuuck," Nathan said, leaning down to bang his head against the table.

Kelly just laughed and patted his curly head once. "I knew it. I fucking knew it."

"Is it a good death, at least?" Nathan asked forlornly.

"Which one?" Alisha blurted out without thinking.

Oops?

"Bloody hell," Nathan moaned, putting his head down on the table and groaning pitifully.

"He dies a lot! Brilliant!" Kelly enthused, grinning. "I was hoping things wouldn't be boring after Nathan came back. Glad to hear it's confirmed. It's nice to know that his time here on this weird ass island won't change him."

Simon was going to refrain from pointing out the Nathan in his universe had never come to Fandom.

"It never gets boring," he said. There, that was a safe truth.

"I bet you lot laugh your arses off when I die," Nathan said, looking up at the both of them. "That's a shitty thing to do and you should be ashamed of yourselves!"

Yeah, because Nathan was such a saint.

Alisha raised an eyebrow at him, inclining her head towards Simon.

"You just called him a pedophile."

"I meant it with love!" Nathan exclaimed, arms spread wide. "Love and affection! He's an affectionate pedophile!"

"Shut up, Nathan," Kelly said and smacked him again. He needed to get smacked sometimes. It kept him in line or something.

Alisha rolled her eyes. "You're disgusting, Nathan."

And Simon? Was never going to tell anyone this was sort of making him happy. He'd missed them all, and even if they were from different universes, this alleviated his homesickness.

He smiled a little to himself.

"You say that like you're surprised," Kelly noted, glancing over at Nathan. "I think I'd be scared if he wasn't gross and disgusting. In fact, if he's not carrying some sexually transmitted disease right now, I'd be fucking shocked."

"Hey, fuck you!" Nathan said, glaring. "I am not dirty down there. I clean my cock and balls. They smell like soap. Wanna take a smell?"

Kelly gagged and said, "Pass."

"Disgusting," Alisha repeated, shaking her head and making a face.

"No one wants to smell that, Nathan," Simon chimed in, but it was quiet and right now, he didn't sound like he minded so terribly.

"Shut up, melonfucker," Nathan told Simon, making a face. "At least I've had someone's face down there!"

"Did they immediately vomit afterward?" Kelly asked innocently.

"Shut up!"

Alisha and Simon exchanged looks. So many things there that they already knew better about.

"Think that's our cue to go," she said.

Nathan was busily glaring at both Barry and Alisha so Kelly rolled her eyes and gave them both a nod.

"All right, see you -- " Well, would she see these two again? Probably not. " -- around. Later, yeah?"

"Yeah," Alisha agreed, knowing full well that they'd probably never meet again. "Later."

She gave them a little wave, and Simon nodded, and then they went back off into the crowd, where they would most likely reminisce about the things Kelly and Nathan were yet to see.
