Parents' Weekend Brunch, Sunday Morning to Afternoon, The Park

As was traditional, the start of the end of Parents' Weekend featured plenty of food, benches, chairs, and coffee in the park. After all, the Student Council couldn't let the parents be weirded out one last time without a feast.

The sky was a little overcast, but the temperatures were still above normal, which was a lucky break for the final day of the weekend.

[OOC: Have fun!]

"Oh! I am quite acquainted with her highness," Lucrezia said, bowing slightly. Daenerys was quite insistent on informality of address, to her own person, but that would not excuse possibly slighting her before one of her own. "I would say that I might call her friend, if she would forgive the presumption. Are you kin?"

Perhaps he was royal, as well, and equally unconcerned with the proper terms; better to offer it and be rebuffed than to snub him unintentionally.

Jorah shook his head. "I'm her knight."

Intriguing. Lucrezia filed that information away.

"How fortunate, for a queen to have such loyal knights in her service," she said, instead. "I am sure your presence here must be a great comfort to her."

Jorah looked slightly uncomfortable: if you asked others named Stark, for instance, it had been a long time since he'd been a loyal knight. But the Starks were humorless, joyless people with ironwood where their hearts should be.

"I hope it is," he said with a tiny smile to make up for his moment of bitter narrative temporary silence. "I was the one who suggested she come here."
