Homecoming Dance | Town Hall | Saturday Evening | Post II

The glitter could not be contained! Nor could the moose...despite their plastic nature. Homecoming continued onward, welcoming all late arrivals who were still in time for the main event!

Another laugh. "I have a feeling that it's going to be a lot like work, if you're going to be making me dance." Not that he minded at all. He twirled her in close, and then away.

"Well, nothing dental until I get my bachelors," Jaime shrugged. "And biochem is kicking my butt." Even if he was getting A's.

Then he shook his head, and gave Dinah an eyeroll. "And I'm not meeting any girls. Too busy."

And none of them really compared to the girls he'd known at Fandom (and Brenda was taken), so...

"You are so full of it," Dinah said affectionately. They'd still been dancing around each other this time last year. She'd still been hoping. Jaime might have had a little longer to get over it this time, but she'd still bet money he was mopey.

"Well, there's not really a lot of time. Between homework and, er, other stuff," Blue Beetle stuff, "there's not all that much time left. And I spend most of it with my family when I can. He hadn't seen nearly enough of them while he'd been in Fandom."

He looked around over her shoulder. "Kyle busy this weekend?" he asked curiously. After his call with Dinah earlier, he'd kind of wanted to talk to the other guy, gauge his mindset.
