Momoko nodded. "I totally doubt my current roommate will have any sympathy for me if I get sick. She'd probably think I deserved it. But still, it's better than having no one in the room at all."

Momoko clapped suddenly. "Ah! Speaking of no one! I don't have a date, are you going to dance with me tonight! Do I have to beg a turn from a new girlfriend?"

"No date? Now that's a surprise," said Lion-o. "But you won't have to beg a turn just to dance with me, so I guess you lucked out."

"Well, I totally lucked out, but you have to get working on that dating thing or I will totally start setting you up on blind dates." She reached for his hand. "But not until I get a few dances in. It's been forever since you've danced with me."

"The dating thing is a little rough around here when you're from another planet and planning to go back there after graduation," said Lion-o. "But a dance or two shouldn't be a problem."

Momoko smiled harder to try to cover the pain that his words caused. So he believed that way too? Was it just her?

"I totally didn't want to hear that, you know," she tried to tease, squeezing his arm. "If you find someone, it doesn't matter where you are or where you're from."

"I suppose I would have to find someone to test that out and see if it's true," Lion-o mused. "Of course, I'm sure people who don't come from other planets have that problem, too. You might leave Fandom and find yourself in a completely different dimension from the other person."
