The Causeway, Sunday Morning/Afternoon

It was that time of the year again: spring break, with its travels to far away and exotic locales! Like Brazil.

Teachers and students had been asked to assemble at the causeway as per usual. Their portal would be leaving early on into the afternoon, so there was plenty of time to pack up your things and hurry on down to catch it.

So, the question remained: was everyone ready for some fun in the sun? Or was there still too much bodyswappy freaking out to be done?

Firekeeper - and Blind Seer - had both thankfully kept their usual bodies. Which was all for the best, really. Firekeeper may have been a human-shaped wolf to begin with, but her shape was hers. The idea of someone else stealing it, even unintentionally, set her teeth on edge.

As did the scents of general annoyance and dismay being put off by everyone who had found themselves in the wrong shape. Still, neither wolf was about to let that detract from the whole imminent-trip thing. These trips were likely the only way they'd ever see much of this world beyond Fandom, after all, so they were determined to enjoy them.

Kenzi was there and pouting that she didn't get to go yet. Although playing with Anna's abilities had kept her occupied all night, it wasn't going to make up for missing Rio if this didn't get fixed soon.

Scully had spent the night in the Safe Room, and now she was back among people who were way too excited to be going on a trip. So throwing back the Excedrin was required.

"Hey," Toby wandered over, spotting her. Well, himself, technically. "How're you holding up?"

"You're a saint for not killing people," Scully said, rubbing her temples. She grimaced. "And I've been running through the numbers of Pi to distract myself."

Toby's lips quirked up in a little smile. "Pretty soon you realise that most people's thoughts are really kinda boring," he shared. This past week excepted, of course. "But hopefully you won't be- in there- long enough to really get used to it."

"They're certainly repetitive," Scully admitted, giving a few of the guys dirty looks. "And way more than I want to know." She sighed. "No problems, well, being me? I hope?"

Richie was pretty excited for this trip, though he was trying to act cool about it. But Rio was kind of an awesome destination (especially after the dire warnings Mac had given him about what not to do while he was there, because of course Mac had been there before).

Richie was also really relieved that he was still himself, but had enough sense of self-preservation not to go around bragging about that.

Hanna was there, still with Elphaba's face. She packed like herself, though. She had several bags with her, probably more than what was needed.
