Fashion Show! [Community Center, evening]
The community center had been decorated (glitterified), the models were probably backstage by now either looking fabulous or questioning their life choices, and once everyone was ready there were two emcees taking the stage.
Rilla was still not wild about public speaking when it wasn’t over the radio (there, no one could stare at her), and so she said a quick prayer that she wouldn’t lisp too terribly. The poor starving Belgians were counting on her efforts here!
“Hello,” she said with a tight, nervous smile, “and welcome to the first annual--” things sounded better when they could become annual events, right? “--Kappa Delta Gremlin Fashion Show!”
After waiting for any applause- and there had better be applause, it was only polite- Annie continued, "Tonight you're going to see members of the sorority, fraternity and Pride show off some fashions, and help raise money for the Red Cross to help people all the way back in 1915!" Which probably wasn't going to create some weird time paradox, right? They were being helpful. And retro. Retro-ly helpful.
Rilla waited for that applause to die down before concluding, “And tho--” bad word. BAD WORDS THAT RILLA DIDN’T EVEN THINK FOR THE POORLY TIMED LISPING RIGHT NOW, GOD, “--without further ado,” or any other words with s, if she could help it, “our first model!”

Backstage!
Re: Backstage!
because the description was fitting. But no, that wasn't exactly worthy of a fashion show. That didn't mean she wasn't still thinking about going off the beaten path there even as she touched up her makeup.
Re: Backstage!
"I need to start wearing more vintage," she mused to no one in particular. "Maybe not the fake fur, though."

She would never wear it as-is but the pieces had potential...

Re: Audience!
And maybe he gave an extra donation beyond the cover charge. He didn't think the starving Belgians would object to a little extra money, paradox be damned.
Re: Audience!
And feeling right at home.

Catwalk!
find a terrifying picture of your PB and use it todo a little turn on the catwalk. Annie and Rilla will do their very best to describe what you're wearing.Re: Catwalk!
But being sophisticated and also having spent a weekend competing on America's Next Top Model meant her walk was really good. Even in heels!

Re: Catwalk!
was clean shaven omghad worn suits before but this one had a few more pieces than he was used to, so he had to rush to get dressed. He might have looked a little nervous on the catwalk, wondering how he'd let himself get talked into this.Re: Catwalk!
Re: Catwalk!
It only made her feel more confident as she walked down the runway.

Re: Catwalk!
That was really all that could be said about it, but if anyone asked her, it was Petra's opinion that broken apart and with proper styling, the separates really had potential. But then, this was a girl who owned and adored a gold lame jumpsuit.
