"No." Bo crossed her arms behind the bar and ignored the balloon Tiny was holding out to her. "I already told you my terms. The whole thing or no deal."

Tiny held up his phone in the other hand, then made a show of putting it away. Bo just shook her head.

"No. I don't care if you record me. I'm just not doing it without the quid pro quo." She reached out and bopped the balloon lightly. "Every. Single. Verse."

Which was why anyone visiting the bar tonight, including the guests at Warren and Karla's birthday party, would find themselves treated to a high-pitched -- and very long -- performance of I Am The Very Model Of A Modern Major-General from the huge guy in the leather vest.

Bo's performance, they'd have to be very good at searching YouTube (or know Tiny's username) to find, and also fast enough to get there before Bo filed the fake DMCA takedown notice. Or the obscenity one. She was still trying to decide which seemed more likely coming from Disney.

"If you know the words, sing along!" Dinah cajoled him, continuing on for a minute in a Minnie Mouse voice until her helium ran out. "Hi, Jono. You're looking good. Having fun?"

//Watching the rest of you act utterly ridiculous? Yes, actually,// Jonothon replied, putting his hands on his hips and cocking his head to the side, amused. //And yourself? Not a bad evening to be on the island?//

"Yeah. It's... going." Cake and presents and silliness had helped, and Dinah was smiling. "I think I needed a break from the crunch-studying more than I realized I did. And it's reassuring to see everyone all okay at once." She smiled and added, "Thanks for letting me bend your ear last week, about some of what happened. It really helped."

//It's what I'm here for, luv,// Jono replied, shrugging a little. //We've all had it rough. Least I can do is listen a little, if listening is what somebody needs. It's good to see you up and functional, too.//

"Heh. Thanks. Being in New Gotham, and seeing it was all okay-- that helped." And she'd settled for asking Barbara to check on Pam Redmond. Just to know what was up with her. "And being two weeks behind in my classes didn't help, but wow. Distracting. Especially the forensics course, the TA there is kind of evil. I heard you got to Glacia?"

Jono nodded a little.

//Spent a few days out there, yeah. Needed to check up on Karla... and I needed to get the hell away from here for a while. Did me a bit of good, at least. Running away from things shouldn't be so good for me as it generally is, and yet...//

"And yet..." Yeah, Dinah couldn't argue with its usefulness either.

"But you're back, so you didn't have to run that long, which is cool." She sighed. "Are you teaching at all this summer, or just sticking with Groovy Tunes?"

//I've decided I'm going to try to keep up a balance,// Jono replied, shrugging. //Co-teaching a class with Hannibal, managing the music shop, and actually spending some time in Glacia. Heaven knows I'm not happy unless I'm going half-mad with things to do, anyhow.//

"Silly man," Dinah teased. "Just, get some Jono time in there too. For relaxing. You need that, no matter what you think about getting things done."

//Honestly, that's what managing the Groovy Tunes is,// Jono replied with a shrug of his shoulders. //A full day to sit around with my guitar, listening to music and introducing other people to anything they might not be familiar with.//
