The Devil's Nest, Saturday, April 12th

"No." Bo crossed her arms behind the bar and ignored the balloon Tiny was holding out to her. "I already told you my terms. The whole thing or no deal."

Tiny held up his phone in the other hand, then made a show of putting it away. Bo just shook her head.

"No. I don't care if you record me. I'm just not doing it without the quid pro quo." She reached out and bopped the balloon lightly. "Every. Single. Verse."

Which was why anyone visiting the bar tonight, including the guests at Warren and Karla's birthday party, would find themselves treated to a high-pitched -- and very long -- performance of I Am The Very Model Of A Modern Major-General from the huge guy in the leather vest.

Bo's performance, they'd have to be very good at searching YouTube (or know Tiny's username) to find, and also fast enough to get there before Bo filed the fake DMCA takedown notice. Or the obscenity one. She was still trying to decide which seemed more likely coming from Disney.

[Open! Karla and Warren's birthday party be happenin' in the VIP area; the rest of the joint is open to anyone.]

"Not really, no," Warren replied, smiling apologetically as he returned the hug. Complete with two wings. Two-wing hugs were far simpler. "I think the game plan is to enjoy Fandom not being a jerk while we can, and then go back to Glacia to get back to ruling that Territory that we fought a war for, and all."

Dammit, war.

"I'm so sorry I missed the war," Rinoa said, before she stopped and rewound that, mentally. "I mean -- that I didn't get to help with it. Not that I -- you know what I mean."

Not like it was some great party she hadn't RSVP'd for. That kind of thing.

"Fandom doesn't usually go crazy for that long," she added with a frown. "I hope it's not ... I don't know. Destabilizing."

"We won," Warren offered, with a wry twist of a smile. "Any help we could get would have been appreciated, but it wasn't really in the cards, you know? And that's... not even the first time things have gone nuts for longer than a week or two. Reality imploding on itself always seems to be the culprit, when it does."

The Nothing, for example, had started off as some inconveniences, weeks before people started straight-up vanishing.
