Barton-Pryde Baby Shower, The Onsen - Monday Afternoon

The Onsen was decorated in tastefully gender neutral pastel greens and yellows with a sign directing guests of the shower to where they were meant to go. And, for a change, the island wasn't doing something strange to mess up a party!

...no one point out that just saying that was jinxing things. Just go on in and enjoy the party, hoping that no nefarious brotherhood of evil anythings showed up.

"Exactly." Eliot looked around. "You know, yet, anyway. Though maybe Kanan managed to take the hit for us."

"Oh." Tony looked down to find poor, poor Kanan. "Oh."

"Yep," Eliot said, popping the P. "Seems mostly sapient, though. Or it's a . . . cat-alien thing that likes to make people think it's Kanan."

Probably to scam free turkey.

"Which, for this place, is actually pretty likely," Tony admitted. "Kind of a long way to go for some turkey, though."

"We're feeding the alien cat just to be sure, right?" Because Tony had a soft heart for small creatures.
