Barton-Pryde Baby Shower, The Onsen - Monday Afternoon

The Onsen was decorated in tastefully gender neutral pastel greens and yellows with a sign directing guests of the shower to where they were meant to go. And, for a change, the island wasn't doing something strange to mess up a party!

...no one point out that just saying that was jinxing things. Just go on in and enjoy the party, hoping that no nefarious brotherhood of evil anythings showed up.

"I wonder if there's something that wards against supervillains," Kitty mused.

"If there was, Strange would be invited to every party ever."

"Hmm. Maybe that's the problem. Not inviting Doctor Strange to more stuff."

Probably not?

Tony's face went through an interesting mix of emotions at that. "I just pictured him making magical balloon animals for some reason."

Well that was a good way to get Kitty to start giggling.

"Like regular animals, but trippier."

"And telling children that they're not toys, they're mystical guardians to hold back---whatever it is he fights."

Magic. Pfft.

"That's it, I'm inviting him to her first birthday party," Kitty decided.

She would not.

Probably.

"I will take pictures and it will be amazing."

Possibly also end with a trip to some eldritch plane of existence, but that just built character!
