Barton-Pryde Baby Shower, The Onsen - Monday Afternoon

The Onsen was decorated in tastefully gender neutral pastel greens and yellows with a sign directing guests of the shower to where they were meant to go. And, for a change, the island wasn't doing something strange to mess up a party!

...no one point out that just saying that was jinxing things. Just go on in and enjoy the party, hoping that no nefarious brotherhood of evil anythings showed up.

"I can point to quite a few people who would probably appreciate that more than a card. I'm sure people will understand how busy we'll be." Did Clint sound slightly distressed at how close the due date was getting to be? Surely not.

"But, we already have people volunteering to watch her," she assured him, because she was having that same kind of semi-distress. "Well, one of them got voluntold, but I've also got a contract in writing there."

"Ooh, you are good," Clint said, sounding clearly impressed. "Barney promised to come visit and watch her too, but I don't think we'll reach that point of desperation."
