The Center of a Volcano? Apparently? [Saturday, January 4, 2020]
Anakin was blaming both the spelled seat on the bus that forced him into what he was convinced was top ten of the the galaxy's stupidest outfits and the giant beak on the front of the copiously decorated shuttle that affected his reflexes just enough to tip the bus rather than stopping it when a creepy horned guy with a really great robe, at least, stepped directly in front of the bus like an idiotic new teacher who'd never seen transportation before.
Anakin'd barely had enough time to yell to the passengers to grab onto something before they'd flipped...and now that he'd woken back up, they were definitely not on the causeway any more. Or the clinic. "Great," he grumbled, moving carefully to check for injuries.
He was still in the stupid chicken suit and also kidnapped, apparently. "Is everyone all right?"
[OOC: Team Kidnapped, come on out!]

He was simply prone to these bits of exposition.
Also, a man in a chicken costume, surrounded by children seemed safe enough to approach. Unless they punched him.
In which case he would be very upset.

He turned his head, squinted more, and-- yes. Definitely Jaskier. "Hm," he growled pensively. "Fuck."

"Did you recognize that thing?" Anakin asked, rolling his neck to pop it.

Fragile had always been quick to wake. Now was no different. For a moment, disorientation told her she was on a Beach-- then that quickly faded.
No. No beach.
So: what was it?

Wherever here was.

But no.
He sat up gingerly, yellow eyes squinting against the darkness.
"Fuck," he said, succinctly.

"Wait," she had to ask, blinking around the bus a little, "was that supposed to happen?"

A perfectly reasonable thing to do while in danger.

The current situation also got the reaction of "Ugh, not again," so take that as you will.

"Oh hey. You seem fun."
Was that sarcasm? Honestly on Heather it was impossible to tell.

And then the bus was flipping in the air, and where was Oya to do some cool time-manipulation thing to slow it down, or Anton to do something involving being disturbingly stretchy and pull the bus back down to the ground, or -- right, probably back at Blue Dolphin Base with the original Cass and the rest of the Callisto 6.
Being a timeline-wonky duplicate was confusing, not that she blamed Oya for it or anything. Being 100 -- no, 101 now? -- years in the past, and on the opposite coast, was even more confusing.
And they hadn't even gotten to Fandom yet.
"Kylan didn't mention this was going to happen. What the fuck?"

"Sweet Lord Gawd Baby Jesus Ca-rist!" he exclaimed desperately. He let out a little offended gasp, hand to his chest, and rolled his eyes heavenward. "You took me to soon, Gawd, and very clearly to the wrong place!"
But then he remembered and got an eyeful of Mr. Big, Brooding and Handsome over there with the white hair. "Mmmm," he amended, "or maybe not!"

UM. EXCUSE YOU. JASKIER HAD DIBS."Oh, this will be amazing." Mostly because Geralt was the opposite of nice. Unless you were a crazy Sorceress.

This... she did not love.
"Where... where are we?" she asked, straightening her hat with one hand as she looked around. "Is everyone okay?"

No kidding.

I knew it! I knew it! I knew we never should have trusted a manual vehicle! Sibyl hissed. I didn't like it when Nik was doing it and this is why! We could have been killed!
Opal just sighed, pushing herself up to try to look around. "Please, I'm wearing my poncho and we weren't going that fast."
I mostly meant you anyway, her AI sniffed. I'm backed up in the cloud. Assuming this place even has a cloud.
"Well, we gotta figure out where that--"
Not just here! Sibyl shrilled. This whole place! Not a single AR since we stepped through the DFZ's portal!
"Huh," Opal said, starting to pat herself down. "Yeah, okay, that is weird. Are the contacts still in place?"
Obviously. I'm still here. But I can't find a even a hint of 12G anywhere.
"Then we're both screwed, aren't we?" Opal muttered. "No cloud access for you."
