And once the dates were done, Jaye was behind the bar to serve drinks to any of the people who decided to stick around. Maybe some people wanted to explore some new connections? Or meet up with someone they didn't get? Or just wanted to drink? Or had no idea there had been an event today?

Anyway, bar's open!

Irene had actually had a nice little time with her dates, brief though they might have been! It was always nice to meet new people, and to try to rustle up a little business while she was at it.

And now the people-watching, as she found herself a spot at the bar, got a fresh drink, and discreetly took to seeing if any love matches had been made.

What? It didn't seem likely for her. Might as well be nosy about other people.

Stark had made it through the 'dating' portion of the evening without any major incidents. That was a good thing. And there were plenty of people here he'd like to talk to, so he decided that he could stay a little while. Another drink's worth of time at least.

He ordered from Tino, who was still looking amused with himself, took the drink, then looked around for friendly faces.

"So," Faye asked, sidling up. "Leaving me for Rey? Maybe Dwight? Maybe Lucille? I went on a date with her last time, she's pretty charming."

See, it wasn't the right time for her to do this, no, but she could absolutely tease Stark.

And Annie had survived five dates! Caught up with four people she knew, maybe made a new friend, and finished a beer in fifteen minutes, which was probably the biggest accomplishment here.

So now she had Tino make her a margarita, even while she was glaring at him like he knew what he did.

He knew.

Diego had known Annie was going to be here thanks to a text, so he showed up to support her and her dates. And make fun of her minimally.

And then he saw that Five was also here. Shouldn't he be busy, oh, finding their siblings that he lost?

"I didn't find anyone I like more than you," Annie told him, greeting him with a kiss to the cheek. "Maybe I should give it longer than three minutes?"

Though it hadn't taken her that long to find Diego real attractive last fall, and god, they were even gross in narrative.

Buck had arrived after the event, and set himself up at the bar with a beer. Sure, the event would have been a good way to meet people, but he didn't have a good first date track record. Best to just do it the old fashioned way.

Feeling nothing but pleased with how that had gone, Shunsui poured himself the last of his sake, down what remained, and then fluttered his way on over to the bar where he might linger a little in the aftermath while trying to convince Tino to refill his jug with more sake, while he was here and all.

Given the last week or so, perhaps it was for the best that Faye had not gone on five dates with five random people. Maybe that wasn't, you know, the best message she could send right now. Particularly given that just looking around this bar, Faye could clock at least two people she'd hooked with this past spring. (And one whom she'd robbed in the process. Look at all the opportunities she gave up for you, Stark. Look at them.)

But that being said, she could come and make fun of people, and so she got Tino to make her something big and fruity and pink and settled in for the mockery.

Well, Ulysses had survived all five rounds, even if the results were probably nothing to write home about. (Not that he would've been able to in the first place, given his whole situation.) That called for another drink, so he got one, and settled down to people-watch.

There maybe were a couple of people here he wouldn't have minded getting paired up with, hush.

Caritas? Still not Margo’s favorite place. But she was letting that go tonight. The drinks helped. So did the dates.

Right after they ended, she hurried back to the bar to get a fresh drink (a dirty martini, this time). She kept her eye on the crowd, searching. Her priority was El, first; bangable prospects made a good second.

"So," Irene greeted Margo, sliding onto a barstool with a fresh drink in hand. "Are the bank robberies your most entertaining mark in your criminal history, then? Because crime stories are my favorite."

Well, detective stories were. But Irene had always enjoyed the creating-problems side more than the solving-them side.

So the 'dates' had been interesting to say the least. But things could have gone a lot worse. And rather than rushing off to the apartment, and despite a very strong desire to just hide in the shadows for a bit before slipping away, Dwight got another drink and settled back for a bit. And so he sat at the bar and watched the rest of the dates wrap up as people began to mingle.

Eliot was still giving Tino some side-eye -- he could spot the-wrong-kind-of-dirty at a distance, thank you -- but the other bartender looked alright.

"Don't suppose you have a specialty cocktail?"

With a small pang of....something she wasn't about to admit to...for those days where she could actually very easily expect to get some form of meat on a stick at this bar, Amaya did make a quick stop not so much to refill her drink (which she did, because she knew she could get through it briefly before getting to the real next goal, which was finding herself some food), but more to snag a few napkins and a pen from the bar to jot down a few of the project ideas she'd collected in the past fifteen minutes or so, just to make sure she didn't forget any of the, but, of course she wouldn't!

Five probably needed to eat something if he was going to have another margarita. But that could happen... later on. Maybe something greasy. Or a donut.

For now, though, he was having another drink because it had been a very stressful time for him and he needed something that wasn't temporal math.

Well, privacy wasn't exactly a concern for the three dudes that, unless things started to steer a little different, were probably ending up in the same bed together out of default later anyway, but the choboros had congregated in the lounge with some end-of-dates shots to celebrate their survival and laugh in the face of what had happened the last time the congregated together in the lounge over shots here.

Gladio decided to not only buy the shots, but also lead the toast.

"To having made it through speed dating," he announced over his lifted shot, "and the fact that I'm pretty sure I was only paired with dudes so you two suckers would even stand a chance."

Not that there'd been a whole lot of ladies in the pool to begin with, but once Gladio had noticed that particular detail, he couldn't help himself from bringing it up.
