Caritas [Thursday evening]

When Robin wandered into Caritas on Thursday evening, Tino was nowhere to be found, but a note regarding his shunning of Robin was on the bar.

Evidently he'd discovered he'd have to work next Thursday for her.

It had come to Romeo's attention that he'd been in Fandom over a month, and *still* had not found the bar that didn't card.

So tonight, he was rectifying that enormous wrong.

"Good e'en, might I have a raspberry vodka tonic?," he asked the brunette behind the bar. It wasn't his usual drink, but Annette's had been really good.

Every time that Robin thought that the town was done being weird at her, some kid came along and talked funny.

"Sure," she said slowly, preparing the drink and eyeing the boy carefully before setting it before him.

Romeo took the drink and smiled a grateful smile at the bartender. he knew he was getting examined, he just wasn't sure why.

"I thank thee," he said, taking a sip. "Hast thou worked here long?"

"I...hast worked here a few months," she said carefully.

Huh? Oh, right, verb conjugation. Romeo slooooowed dooooown. "Then you have my advantage," he said. "I was new at the start of this term, and this is my first time in this establishment. Well, as myself."

Belatedly, he remembered Frank had come. And probably not tipped.

Brooke looked over, greeting Romeo with a smile. "You've found my new favorite place," she said.

"My big brother spoke true, they didn't card," Romeo said, delighted both by this fact and to see Brooke. "Have you been coming here a lot?"

"I've made the rounds once or twice," she said, though her rounds were kind of a little more than that. "Gotta love a place where you don't actually need your fake ID. I might get spoiled."

"I know," Romeo said. "It was one of the first things John Sheppard told me about this town, yet it took me all month to get here, not counting the weekend when I was not myself." He shook his head in dismay. "But I am here now, and in good company too."

It had been a while, so Brooke took a seat at the bar, taking a second to decide what she wanted today. "Sex on the beach," she decided, just because she liked saying it.

"Nice choice," Robin said admiringly, setting the drink before her. Usually she was the one forcing the weird drinks on people. Or maybe just one person.

"A lot of times I order them for the shock value," Robin admitted.

It was Thursday so Fraser's routine changed from going home after work to going to Caritas after work.

So, there he was, making his way to the bar.

"Hi!" Robin said cheerfully. "I've alienated Tino out of devotion to you. I hope you're happy."

"He's working for me next week," she said. "Since I'll be out of town and all."

"Oh, right," he said, smiling as realization hit. "Valentine's Day. Should I apologize to him? I could apologize if you think it would make him feel better."

In the name of feeling better, Eve was off to celebrate. Which so totally meant drinking at Caritas. Pfft, like it ever meant anything else?

She approached the bar with a grin. "Surprise me."

She was clearly taking her life into her own hands here.

Robin eyed the girl, shrugged, and decided to rise to the challenge.

She mixed Jäger, melon liquor, tequila and cranberry juice into a Homewrecker and set it before her. And then decided she'd make Tino clean it up if she didn't like it.

Eve was never one to back down from a challenge, especially one she herself had issued, so she just eyed the drink warily for a moment before taking a cautious sip.

"... Whoa." She was pretty sure she stopped breathing for a second. "That's... strong."

"It has Jäger and tequila," she replied, nodding. "Called a Homewrecker. I used to love those in college."
