Parents Weekend Brunch - Sunday morning in the park

Harvey didn't have too much trouble arranging the brunch in the park. Between the help of the rest of the StuCo members and oddly enough, Marshall (apparently he had a thing for brunch), Harvey hardly had to do a thing. And isn't that what being president is really about?

There was a harvest theme in the tent, with the tablecloths and napkins all in reds, yellows and oranges. Marshall even hand-made the autumn-themed centerpieces on the tables. There was also, of course, every kind of brunch food imaginable set up at the buffet table. There was probably even foods there that didn't even qualify as brunch. Harvey had a hankering for pizza earlier.

A sign was posted outside the tent:

"The only thing missing is a pink bellini with a pineapple wedge. Isn't alcohol implied when brunch is mentioned?" James asked, checking his suit pocket for a flask to no avail.

"It's a school function, dude," Marshall said between bites of pancake.

"And that in a nutshell is why I don't teach," Barney added. "What other profession could suck the fun out of brunch?"

"...I guess prostitution," Marshall said. "But only because of sanitary reasons."

He didn't want a bunch of hookers around his pancakes.

"And now I'm wondering if hookers are like strippers and keep up a good buffet," Barney said, thinking Fandom really needed a stripper buffet.

"I don't want to eat from any hooker buffet," Marshall said. And for him that was pretty impressive.
