Parents Weekend Brunch - Sunday morning in the park

Harvey didn't have too much trouble arranging the brunch in the park. Between the help of the rest of the StuCo members and oddly enough, Marshall (apparently he had a thing for brunch), Harvey hardly had to do a thing. And isn't that what being president is really about?

There was a harvest theme in the tent, with the tablecloths and napkins all in reds, yellows and oranges. Marshall even hand-made the autumn-themed centerpieces on the tables. There was also, of course, every kind of brunch food imaginable set up at the buffet table. There was probably even foods there that didn't even qualify as brunch. Harvey had a hankering for pizza earlier.

A sign was posted outside the tent:

"I wouldn't do that," Chouji said. "Even though they did ask."

"Half the embarrassing stories embarrass me too, anyway," Chouji said with a chuckle.

"Though I did hear something about you waking up as a boy."

It had happened twice. She'd been the world's girliest guy.

Chouji chuckled. "I'll take that as a yes," he said.

"I'm pretending you said nothing," she informed him.

"I'm telling Shikamaru," Chouji said.

And he prepared to duck.

Because she took a swing at him.

Chouji didn't duck fast enough and got walloped.

"Okay, okay, I won't!"

"You'd better not!" she said, hands on her hips. "Or that'll look gentle."

Chouji actually chuckled, softly. "Good to see you're still the same old Ino," he said.

Chouji nodded. "Hai," he said. "It seems like you really fit in here."

Chouji mulled a thought over for a moment. "Having two homes isn't so bad," he said.
