Town Hall, Friday [All Day]

The calls had started early in the morning, and the patients had followed shortly after, all with the same problem - people had fallen asleep and couldn't be woken up. It didn't take long for it to become clear that the clinic wouldn't hold everyone - there really were a finite number of rooms in the place - and in quite possibly the only instance of anyone ever being grateful for the plague, it wasn't long before Martha, the nurses, and the town hall staff had figured out how to recreate the emergency clinic in the town hall. Cots were set up, supplies were brought over, and the rest of the clinic staff had been contacted. Now, all they needed was to get everyone rounded up to be taken care of, and to try to figure out what was wrong.

Edmund had been redirected on his way to the clinic with a sleeping Jo Harvelle (http://wannabehunter.livejournal.com/5328.html?view=151504#t151504) in his arms. His arms were burning by this time and he looked around for somewhere to set her down.

Jack was trying hard not to show any cracks in his calm demeanor when he walked into the clinic with Emma Frost in his arms, but the stress still showed on his face.

"She won't wake up," he announced.

Joan, Kate and a dog came in, struggling to haul Liir and Rachel. A couple troopers helped them get their passed out friends off their hands.

Robin, being Canadian and hardy, was having little trouble carrying a slumped (http://just-add-starch.livejournal.com/54722.html) Fraser against her. She was pretty sure that it was the Canadianism, anyway.

She was getting tired, in any case. "Hi, comatose Mountie, little help?"

Yakko had fallen asleep this morning. After the announcement, he started sleepwalking to the clinic, navigating his way effortlessly around town. "Zzzzzzhellonursezzzzzzz," he snored as he passed by one of the nurses.

Hinata had been heading to see if she could help at the town hall anyway when she'd found Hurley (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/4218991.html?thread=174030447#t174030447) and proceeded to (very slowly) drag him to the town hall.

"A-Ano," she gasped out, "can someone h-help?"

She was wee and Hurley was... not.

Though a certain amount of obliviousness was pretty much the norm for Bobby, he had actually noticed that there was something very, very wrong going on. So of course, he'd headed out to find Zack and see if he could help explain the... sleeping whatever.

He'd found Zack, passed out in the hallway outside his door. Remembering what the radio had said about bringing people to Town Hall, he'd slung one of Zack's arms around his own shoulders and hauled ass down there.

Triela was skinny enough that she looked ridiculous carrying anyone in her arms, even someone as light as Karla (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/2187354.html?thread=141999706#t141999706).

"I hope you've got plenty of beds," she sighed. "I suspect I'm going to end up in here sooner or later." She tried to suppress a yawn, but her hands were full of with a witch.

Fred Dukes arrived with a small blonde over one shoulder. She really looked small, compared to the massive fellow carrying her.

"Elena," he said, hoping someone was listening. "Fell asleep in class. Best she be looked after."

Awww, the big cranky guy actually cared about his students.

Veronica showed up at Town Hall after hearing Cable's broadcast and looked for someone to talk to about what she had been experiencing.

She was glad she had stayed awake so far.

Francine had been putting this off, and God knew the library was a good excuse, but she'd catch crap from Katchoo if she didn't come in eventually, so when there was a lull, she left Morgana to take charge and walked over to the clinic.

She waited quietly, though, not wanting to end up in front of any of the people who really needed to be here.
