And it was totally possible she was throwing it into the downward swing of a really, really big blade.

The car was now two cars. Or, rather, two halves of a car, and the puppy with the sword was running between those two pieces, tucking his sword away on his back before scooping her up in his arms and spinning in a circle.

A faintly confetti-covered circle.

"Ino!"

Hi, Zack had been worried. There had been a fish? It was a whole thing.

That... yep, that was a very dead car. A wet one too.

She laughed, flinging her arms around Zack's neck.

"The cavalry to the rescue, huh?"

Look, the car should have known better than to mess with Zack's precious person. He'd carved missiles in two with his sword before. What was a car by comparison?

"Well, I'm sure not the infantry," he replied, grinning. "Next time I'll see about borrowing a chocobo before I show up to save the day, okay?"

... He could have just summoned one, but he was only just now realizing that he was meant to be the cavalry, too. It was a whole thing.

Ino laughed again, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"I do love you," she said, smiling. "I'm glad you're here and I'm sorry you were worried. It weren't so bad in here."

For her. And she was going to find she was a definite minority in that.

Zack smiled warmly and nuzzled his face into her cheek. This was more like it.

... He'd been worried since Friday. It was the worst!

"Well, then let's get you home," he replied, and then grinned a little. "Did you at least get any good loot?"

Or did the island continue to be disappointing on that front?

"Ugh, no," she grumbled, though she didn't sound too mad given that she was with Zack and all. "The island is the worst at this. You'd think, if they were gonna bring trucks and cars and things from Gaia that they'd bring the loot, too, but nooooo..."

Her priorities were clearly in order.

"Can we order in tonight?"

And snuggling somewhere in there too.
