The weather had been kind, and it was just the right amount of cool for a Halloween-themed Homecoming carnival. The booths and activities were ready for visitors, and the Halloween decorations and spooooky music playing everywhere aimed to set the right kind of mood for everyone.

Yes, there was also black and orange glitter everywhere, because of course there was. Feel free to take some home with you, because it's going to be difficult not to!

"Since just now?"

"Okay. You ready to get back in some water?" she asked, levitating a ball to her hand.

"I am never ready for that," Anakin said.

Was that the perfect opening for Jaina to throw the ball directly at the target? Because she went for it.

Oh, look at that ball just floating there, not hitting the target.

Because Anakin was a huge cheat.

So Jaina slapped the target with the Force.

Some things ran in the family.

And down he went with a yelp and a huge splash.

"How dare you, I live for this," Jaina told him.

Anakin laughed as he broke the surface of the water. "This is your highlight?"

"There's a reason homecoming is on the Emperor's official personal calendar," Jaina said.

"I'm simultaneously mortified and flattered," Anakin said.

"This is quality time," Jaina said, shrugging.

"Throwing things at a revered member of your family is quality time?" Anakin asked.

"Have you met our family? of course," Jaina said.

"I would enjoy throwing things at Cade," Anakin had to admit.

"Sign him up next year. For now I get to dunk you."

She'd do that next year too.
