Homecoming Carnival, The Park, Friday

The weather had been kind, and it was just the right amount of cool for a Halloween-themed Homecoming carnival. The booths and activities were ready for visitors, and the Halloween decorations and spooooky music playing everywhere aimed to set the right kind of mood for everyone.

Yes, there was also black and orange glitter everywhere, because of course there was. Feel free to take some home with you, because it's going to be difficult not to!

Right around 800 lbs, if he was lifting it at an angle rather than directly overhead. Not that anyone's player had ever gone and looked such things up to know for sure, or anything.

"I think the Captain probably puts us all to shame," Annie had to note with a grin. "Honestly, I kind of love doing stuff like this in normal places -- we went to the Jersey City boardwalk awhile ago and I think the guy running it thought I legit was cheating."

And Miguel could lift up to ten tons at his peak which I just looked up.

Miguel laughed. "How would you cheat at it if you're not the one running it? I would've loved to see that. Don't suppose you got it on video?"

"Diego might've," Annie noted thoughtfully. "I mean, I'm sure it looked like a total physical impossibility -- but then, we were all 'cheating' up and down that boardwalk."

Mr. Trajectory Manipulation had kind of cleaned up on the dart stuff, too.

"That clearly just means they need to build better booths," Miguel said, grinning. "Do they do that where you're from?" he asked. "Build skill tests and things that stand up to the superheros."

"Yeah, there's a few things like that," Annie said with a nod. "I had to pass a whole gauntlet of, like, demonstrations when I tried out for my team."

"But none just like this, for fun?" he asked. "Though the other kind sounds useful, too. So you know what you can do."
