Homecoming Carnival, The Park, Friday

The weather had been kind, and it was just the right amount of cool for a Halloween-themed Homecoming carnival. The booths and activities were ready for visitors, and the Halloween decorations and spooooky music playing everywhere aimed to set the right kind of mood for everyone.

Yes, there was also black and orange glitter everywhere, because of course there was. Feel free to take some home with you, because it's going to be difficult not to!

"Oh this is too perfect to pass up!" Dwight said with a laugh as he stopped in front of the booth and then walked up, giving Miguel a somewhat cheeky grin.

"Oh, sure." Miguel rolled his eyes. "Do it and see if I drop by your booth, Hendrickson."

"Hehe, I doubt that" Dwight said still rubbing at his cheek now and then trying to get the last of that lipstick off.

Oh, just watch him, Dwight!

Miguel crossed his arms. "And yet, you're here."

"Hey just wanted to make sure one of my friends didn't feel left out" Dwight said lifting his hands in mock innocence.

Though.... he was now having images of Miguel webbing him to the ceiling of his shop or yeeting him off the docks... and he was starting to have second thoughts about this.

"So good of you." Miguel rolled his eyes again. "I feel all included."

There would be no yeeting when the water was this cold, never fear.

"Hey what are you complaining about?" Dwight teased. "You got super speed and webs. I'm pretty sure you can keep a pie from hitting you in the face with relative ease."

"I wouldn't use webs for it," Miguel said. "That would be cheating."

He would absolutely move, though.

"Well then.... we might just have to give it a go" Dwight mused. "I mean, it is for a good cause after all right?"

"Pretty sure it's for the school," Miguel said. "But I'm also pretty sure the cash from this isn't going to help much with the next over-the-top vacation. Haven't decided whether they like us to feel like we're contributing, or just like to see us jump through hoops."

"Little of both maybe?" Dwight mused as he picked up one of the pies and held it. "It's at least fun for me" he said with a smirk as he lifted his hand and threw the pie suddenly, not really expecting to hit Miguel but hoping maybe to catch him a little off guard.

Yeah, Sorry, Dwight. You weren't Rosa with a grudge; Miguel was totally dodging.

"Not bad aim. Hey, at least these don't come back at you, right?"

"Good thing, considering I didn't sign up for the pie flinging" Dwight said with a laugh.

"Neither did I!" Miguel protested. "I'm choosing to blame Rosa."

She was also the reason he had traces of whipped cream in his hair.

"Rosa got you and I swear it was Leroy that got me sighed up for that kissing booth. It's a conspiracy! Someone should complain... to.... the moose? Eh nevermind... " Dwight said rubbing the back of his head and sighing.

"Yeah, you do that." Miguel smirked. "Nobody wins against the moose."

"Yeah, I've figured that out. I mean Rosa wont challenge the moose so yeah.... not gonna even attempt that one."

"Wise man." Miguel grinned.
