Homecoming Carnival, The Park, Friday

The weather had been kind, and it was just the right amount of cool for a Halloween-themed Homecoming carnival. The booths and activities were ready for visitors, and the Halloween decorations and spooooky music playing everywhere aimed to set the right kind of mood for everyone.

Yes, there was also black and orange glitter everywhere, because of course there was. Feel free to take some home with you, because it's going to be difficult not to!

"No, I...no. I didn't even know I was until I got here," Jon admitted.

"It seems to be a theme. Don't worry, it's not just you" Dwight said with a sympathetic nod. "I ended up in one of the kissing booths so, you are pretty safe here by comparison."

"Yes, this is probably the least problematic," Jon agreed. "At least so long as it doesn't get too cold."

He didn't exactly hold a lot of heat.

"Well, are you ready to take the plunge then? You look far too dry to be sitting in a dunking booth I must say."

Dwight picked up one of the balls and gave it a couple tosses in the air.

Jon sighed. "Unless I can convince you not to, I suppose I'm as ready as I'll get."

"Naww I'm not gonna dunk ya," Dwight said with a laugh. "Not worth you catching your death for a couple bucks" Dwight said as he pulled out a couple bills and put them in the jar.

"Still not worth risking getting sick" Dwight pointed out. "Would make me feel bad if my dunking you caused it. So more for my sake than for yours then" he added with a smirk.
