Fight Club, Atlas Gym, Sunday Night

After getting back from Sweden, Tyler had slept until just before Fight Club. The results had him feeling a bit like a vampire who never saw daylight. But a very well-rested vampire.

"Welcome back," he said, pacing as usual. "It's been a while, but we haven't forgotten you and I hope you haven't forgotten us. If you need a refresher, rules are on the gym door."

"And if you need a refresher after one week, you are most likely still hungover, and have no place on the mats," Ghanima replied. "Which is why we'll hit you anyway, so that you learn."

"Now then. You and you. Young lady, you're with her. And Azula, with me, please."

"Ghanima, I'm picking on your brother again," Tyler said. "Leto, with her. Steve, with him. And those two. Go hit each other."

"I can't say I disapprove," Ghanima laughed. "I think it's a sister's duty to help torment her brother."

"Now, everyone go hit the mats. Get out your dismay that classes are back again tomorrow, and yes, we expect you to be there. We don't care that it's Homecoming week."

Tyler wasn't fighting this week, so he had more time than he usually did to meander through the group. He was vaguely curious what the Catskills had been like.

Rose was kinda thrilled to be back for training and Fight Club. She sat on the mats and stretched, feeling oddly at home.

He had enjoyed the trip, but Leto felt better being in Fandom. It wasn't quite home, but close enough.

He grinned when his name was mentioned, and shot Ghanima a mock-insulted look before laughing.

Jono was his usual, cheerful self when he showed up for Fight Club today, yes.

Which meant mostly that he was once again skulking around the edges, with his arms crossed over his chest, figuring that he'd watch unless somebody wanted to spar.

... Or unless Professor Durden wanted him to spar. That worked, too.

Hayley arrived, though her enthusiasm for being there was conflicted. On one hand, fighting was fun. On the other hand, she wondered if she enjoyed it for herself or because Azula seemed to want her to.

When she got called to fight Elle?

She just pouted a lot.

Jennifer was just glad that people were around again. She warmed up, stretching and getting herself limber. She doubted she'd spar today, but it was still a good idea.

Beka was glad to show up for Fight Club once more. She was even more glad when she got called out to fight for the first time.

Claire was glad to be back at Fight Club but sad that fall break was over. She had sort of neglected her workouts though, so she was taking extra care with her stretching.

Back when she'd first been ordered to attend fight club, Triela would never have thought she would actually be glad to come back to it after a week off. But she was. She'd managed to keep herself busy, and hone some rarely-used skills, but this was one she knew she'd need again, so it was nice to have a chance to practice again.

Sporting a few new scratches (and not looking all that upset about it) from a week spent behaving properly wolf-like, Firekeeper was sitting against a wall with Blind Seer as they watched people stretch.

Jonothon kind of blinked when he was singled out for a match. And then he rubbed the back of his neck. And shifted his weight awkwardly. And then shrugged and took his place on the mat. Why the hell not? He was here to fight, after all.
