Demon Marcus, Sunday, All Day

Sparkle was dressed up nicely today, if only because he hadn't managed to do his laundry since Friday's unfortunate food fight with Atton. There had been a mustard-smeared kitten to clean, and that had been an exercise in masochism and creative application of band-aids, right there. But, really, he couldn't care less about what people thought of him today. While the rest of the population of the island had visitors, Sparkle had... to work. Or, well, "work." He couldn't be bothered to do anything particularly strenuous today, no.

And so, Sparkle's shift at Demon Marcus was going to be spent standing in the doorway to the back room, wadding up hideous sweaters and seeing if he could chuck them into the burn barrel from there.

Look, you pass the weekend your way, and Sparkle will pass it in his.

The Devil's Nest- Sunday

It was Bring Your Boyfriend To Work day here at the Devil's Nest. Or at least it was for Jaina, who still had some time left before Jag had to leave and she didn't intend to spend it apart. Besides, he should probably see where she worked anyway... in a vampire-run Lady Gaga was a definite theme for the music tonight.

You only had so much time left in the weekend, people of Fandom. Might as well spend it drinking.

Wellspring Arms & Meditation Center, Sunday

Since everyone back home thought he was dead, Coulson didn't expect any kind of visitors for himself. And even if he had company, work was work. Weapons needed to not be sold, meditation space was ready to be observed.

That didn't mean he couldn't have some fun with the idea of Parents Weekend, though. That's why he had a display set up with two shotgun parents and a sawed off child. It was kind of adorable if you were into shotgun violence.

Goodvalor's Little Bivoli, Sunday

Zayne wasn't even going to question what was going on with the droids today. He just assumed that they were feeling some kind of misplaced family longing.

Today's Special:
A phone call to your mother, even if she's here.

They had some issues, man. Issues.

Parents' Weekend Brunch, Sunday Morning to Afternoon, The Park

The sky was cloudy but the weather was just the right side of warm as the sun rose on the traditional Parent's Weekend Brunch. There were tables, chairs, and a buffet laid out with all manner of breakfast (and not-so-breakfasty) foods.

But that wasn't all, there was also a small gift bag for each guest with cookies, stickers, and a bingo card for anyone who hadn't gotten their mingle on enough this weekend.

[OOC: Cookies for all!]

Lobster Hut, Sunday Evening

"I don't even like bloody seafood."

Sarah and her parents had been in Lobster Hut for barely five minutes: just long enough for them to have claimed their party's table, and for Barry to have started complaining. It made Sarah smirk. She wasn't sure how long she'd be able to hold on to her amusement, though. What with Guy's ex being on her way here, the tarty clothes may have been the wrong choice for this outing, as much as they had already made her father glare daggers at her.

"I'm sure there's something you'll like, Barry," Lynda tried to appease her husband, "you'll see, luv."

Sarah just gave that a snort.

[ooc: Sarah and her parents are here for the most disastrous dinner ever, but the post is open for your other Lobster Hut needs!]
