Originally, this was going to be a much smaller event, but then Fandom had to be Fandom and Portalocity had to be Portalocity, and now Zoe was wondering if there would be enough food for everyone or if she'd have to get things from the local restaurants.

For the moment though, everything was set up nicely. There were tables and chairs set up with blue and gold tablecloths, each covered with glitter from years of use. There were balloons, streamers, and other slightly tasteful decorations, also covered in glitter from years of being stored with things that were also covered in glitter. Don't worry, no one had died from a glitter overdose yet.

Once the food was set out and the (non-tainted) punch was ready, it seemed like things were as good to go as they'd ever be. If things got too crowded, hopefully a fire marshal wasn't among the folks who had come back to town.

"You know, there's no reason we couldn't do it more often," Jaime pointed out, tightening his grip at her waist and smiling down at her.

"Is there even a place in San Antonio to go dancing?" Momoko chuckled. "Or were you thinking of coming back here more often?"

"We have our own place now, you know," Jaime pointed out. "And if we arrange the furniture in the living room right..."

Well, just sayin'.

"Mmm. We don't have a rule against dancing, do we?" She thought about that a moment. "I did take all those lessons, too."

"Hmm," Jaime hummed thoughtfully, still grinning. "And it would be awful to let those go to waste, right?"

"It would!" She snickered. "Though I'm not sure we have the right music in our collections."

"But we do have the internet," Jaime pointed out with a smirk.

"Ooh. You're making it very hard for me to refuse, you know." She snuggled closer. "Can we do all the dances I learned?"

"I don't know," Jaime said slowly. "What if I can't keep up with you?" You know, like usual.

She snorted.

"I had a week for each type of dance. I'll be lucky to remember any of it." Besides the salsa. She'd paid special attention to that one. Dinah had told her once that Jaime had given her salsa lessons, so...

"Besides, you totally dance better than me. I just copy what I see."

"Uh huh. You say that now, but you haven't seen me try some of those dances," Jaime reminded her.

"And what dances do you not do well? Can we do those first?"

"Wait, why are we starting with the stuff I'm bad at?" Totally not fair!

"Well, I've already admitted that I'm bad at all of it. Starting that way would make me feel better!"

Jaime laughed. "I bet you're good at it," he accused with a laugh.

"That doesn't matter; I want to be able to tease you! You're horribly good at almost everything, you know."

"You want to tease me?" Jaime asked. pouting over at her.

She unwrapped one arm to reach up and tap that pout. "Of course. You get to tease me all the time; I need a turn."

"I don't see why," Jaime teased, pursing his lips to kiss her fingertip.

"Because it's fun," she admitted. "And I love having fun with you."

"Can we come up with a way to have fun that doesn't involve me feeling like an idiot?" he smirked.

"Does that include dances you don't know?"

"How about we try it once or twice and see how it goes, hmm?" Because maybe he could put up with some teasing if it meant dancing with Momoko.

"Deal," she chuckled and went back to snuggling... uh. Dancing. "And then maybe I'll tell you the dance I practiced hardest at. Just for you."

Jaime's smile was slow, and warm, matching the feeling bubbling up from his stomach. "I can't wait."
