Prom, Community Center, Friday Evening

It was possible that the strange creatures that had invaded Fandom last week were still on everyone's mind when the Student Council had designed the decorations for Prom. Glittery cardboard animal-hybrid monsters awaited everyone as they arrived to the community center, and made their way inside along a blue and yellow carpet flanked by glowing, glittery red eyes.

Nothing in the decorations looked like a rabbit though. Some memories were just too much to make fun of.

"I think I can make space on m' dance card," Ada replied thoughtfully, and this time the kiss she tried to claim was a little less chaste.

And the hand that slid down her back and rested on her tailbone suggested that was quite all right with him. "And is there room on your dance card for later?" he asked. "After the dancing is over?"

"I think that can be arranged," she sighed, leaning into his touch. //Stay with me t'night?//

Her accent was still, well, distinctly Ada, but she'd clearly been practicing.

//Nothing would give me more joy,// he told her, kissing her again. Softly.

At least until he pulled her close enough so she could feel what a good idea that was, and heightened the intensity of the kiss to go along with it.

It felt like an amazing idea right about now, and Ada matched him passion-for-passion on the kiss.

She broke the kiss -- barely -- right before she could give in to the urge to let her hands start to wander and have it cross the line past PG-13. "Maybe we should go get that picture," she suggested, smiling. "B'fore we get too caught up in th' dancing."

"If we must," Hyacinthe said, not bothering to mask the hunger in his voice or the raggedness of his breathing. "Only because I am unable to deny you anything, rinkeni."

Because, damn, those shadowy corners were looking pretty tempting about now...

Ada slid her hands over his hips teasingly. "Only because it's better t' do it now, 'cause I think I might need a break from th' dance floor," she said, glancing toward the shadowy corners and then back at him.

Ada was not at all opposed to getting hot and heavy at the dance. But if he wanted a picture with her, it should probably be before they got each other good and mussed-up.

"I don't know," he murmured in her ear, even as he started escorting her towards the picture booth. "I think I'd quite like a picture of you, hair mussed, cheeks rosy, lips parted as you pant for breath..."

Ada's smile grew slightly wicked. "'M sure that can be arranged later," she murmured, eyes sparkling with mischief. "You're good at getting me exactly where you want me."

It was what cell phone cameras were for, right?

Absolutely, though Hyacinthe often forgot that he had one. Or a phone in general.

"After our pictures, I'd be happy to tell you exactly where I want you," he said, waggling his eyebrows. "And how I want you, too."

Maybe he'd remember it more if it had... a little more pictorial incentive stored on it?

"You make it sound like you've got a list," Ada teased. "Gettin' ideas already?"

She was still on the 'kiss him senseless' part of plan-making, but the night was young.

He likely would!

"I have been having ideas since I first saw you, rinkeni," Hyacinthe told her. "I defy anyone who appreciates beauty to do otherwise."
