Parents Weekend Meet & Greet, Friday Afternoon
It was one of those insufferably nice seasonal afternoons, the type Fandom only broke out for major events: the temperature was charmingly brisk, the trees an autumnal red-and-yellow, and birds sang their merry fall songs in the trees - when they weren't tussling with the squirrels.
A glittery banner hung over the entrance to the park, drawing in all newcomers:
Welcome to Parents' Weekend 2022!
Welcome, friends, family, and other hangers-on! We're glad to see you! As far as you know!
[[ all PW guest applications have been accepted! ]]

Re: Food and Drinks [PW 2022]
Obviously, but it made a difference to her, that this girl had a Wanda of her own. What was the point of like...identity, anyway, if you could just swap in and out versions of yourself?
Re: Food and Drinks [PW 2022]
"Maybe there was something wrong with that Wanda." She should have probably asked TJ more questions. Maybe her Wanda wasn't attentive, or she needed help.
Re: Food and Drinks [PW 2022]
For one thing: she had had a daughter with someone.
Re: Food and Drinks [PW 2022]
Where she could do more research, crack the whole multiverse thing, and then get her kids back. Then there would be no more of this.
Re: Food and Drinks [PW 2022]
"Might've just made it worse," Annie suggested softly. At least, that was how things usually went with her, with these things -- sometimes coming outside into the light helped chase the clouds away, a little. (Though, clearly, sometimes it also introduced new clouds.) "And hey, now you know to look out for her, right?"
Re: Food and Drinks [PW 2022]
She was better than this. At least she was supposed to be.
Re: Food and Drinks [PW 2022]
Fucking interdimensional nexus. One of these days, something good needed to come out of that, instead of something just complicated.
"But you're just human, Wanda, not stupid."
Re: Food and Drinks [PW 2022]
"I should get out of here before a house drops on me or something." Look at that, witch humor. "Thank you, Annie. You're a good friend."
