"Thanks, Z," Anders told her, still somewhat agape. "I have no frakkin' idea how that happened."

"Uh, people like you and voted for you?" Z suggested.

"It's easy to forget these things when you spend most of your time hiding out in your room?" Anders replied.

"There's an obvious solution here," Z told him. "Spend less time hiding out in your room."

"There you go again, Delgado," Anders said with a mock long-suffering sigh, "making sense at me."

"Well, someone has to. Go," she said with a wave of her hand. "Dance. Claim your crown, fair prince."

"Yes sir, Cadet Delgado." Anders gave her a mock salute and went off to find Isabel and his new headgear.
