"Peter stuffed the ballot box," she laughed.

"Perfect! Did he do it for Alanna and Jack too?" Because right now, Parker's getting waaaay more fun out of the show on the podium than she would have if she'd won.

"I'm only kidding. I think," Isabel explained, watching the show and getting nervous. "I hope I don't have to throw one of them in the pond."

"Good luck on that. Alanna might set fire to you," Parker said cheerfully. "God, I love this. I am *so* glad you talked me into coming."

"I am so glad you came," she smiled. "And now, if you don't mind, I think I have to go dance with your date."
