"Looking for a hot guy in a tux are you?" she teased back, giving him a sly wink.

"Oh, you came with Parker?" She made a small show of looking around, "I bet she does look great."

"I'm not gonna steal anybody else's date," Anders said instantly. "But if you don't mind my looking . . ."

He grinned. "Parker's Parker. Of course she looks great."

Annette tilted her head, "...looking at who?" He wasn't talking about Dick, was he?

She nodded, "I've never seen her all dressed up though. I mean not that I check out other girls in a hot turn-on way sort of thing." She raised her brows and turned red.

"Oh, just people in general," Anders assured her, since he had actually been talking about . . . well, a specific someone who wasn't Dick.

"Oh, okay." That settled her. "There are a lot of hot people here, uh?" And since Dick told her modesty was overrated, she sort of preened a little, smoothing her hands over her pretty pretty gown despite the fact that Anders already complimented her.

"Yeah, I know." She tucked a curl behind her ear. "I kind of like what I like. Just like everybody I guess. Though I did do a little girlkissy once."

"The way I figure it, people are damn pretty," Anders said with a shrug. "So, hey. I'm not gonna be picky about stuff like plumbing, right? Whatever you like, go for it."

He smiled at her. "You look hot. Go show it off. I owe my big sis a prom court dance."

That made her laugh, "People are pretty damn pretty. I like that Anders. Think I'll use it sometime when I feel the need to be uplifting."

"Go dance. I've got to find Dick so we can do our dance thing too. Again, congrats, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening."
