The music is playing, the glitter is everywhere and outside the tent, the gondoliers are occasionally bursting into song.

"I still can't believe that it was all the Peters who did that," Peter said.

"It must be the name. We need a repeat event just so you can pull Steve Peter into the fun. The poor guy won't know what him him."

"I argue differently. I think that it should never happen again," Peter said.

"Oh come on, just think about the day when you can tell your kids all the wild and crazy things you did when you were younger," she teased.

"More importantly, it was when I was actually out of my mind. I'm swearing that off for this summer," Peter said.

"I suppose if you can manage to avoid any weird food, you might actually manage that," Isabel said. "Are you sticking around for the summer?"

"I'm actually not completely sure yet. I think I'm going home, though," Peter said.

"But you'll be back?" Turn, spin, bump, concerned look, turn.

"Of course," Peter said. "I'm actually doing better with focusing on my work here and it's been marginally less dangerous to me. That's all I need to convince my aunt to send me back."

"Good," Isabel said, not letting herself think about the fact that she probably wouldn't be there. "It's good you'll be back."

"Like I could stay away from here for too long," Peter said.

"It's impossible," she admitted. "Look at me, I wound up on the other side of the galaxy and still managed to be back in time for prom."

"This place is a big, weird, people magnet of some sort," Peter said. "You have to love it."

"I do," Isabel nodded. "And all the people it draws in. Okay, maybe not all. But there's a few people I'm very, very glad I met."

"It's safe to assume that I'm on that list, right?" Peter asked.

"Absolutely," she said immediately and seriously. "Top of it. Everything good here? Started with you."

"You were really my first good friend here. That whole crazy dream thing and spoiling my identity," Peter said. "Ah, memories."

"I feel like we should switch from fifties music to something sappy," Isabel laughed. "But yeah, I know exactly what you mean."
