"I believe you have," Peter said, putting his hands on her waist to dance. "But I've not said nearly enough how lovely you are tonight."

"I'd...hoped," he admitted. "When I saw you - after my mind started working again anyway, I hoped that was why."

Willow smiled up at him. "I'm glad you noticed. And I'm glad you wore gold because that way we're all matchy and it's almost like we planned it."

"Never!" Willow replied. She took on an innocent look. "Well, just the once."

"Oh?" he asked, amused. "What was I thinking?"

"That you'd really like to smooch me?" Willow guessed.

Peter cracked up, burying his head in her shoulder for a second. "That's all the time. It doesn't count."

"It's not my fault you didn't specify," Willow replied. His laughter made her smile. She held him tighter.

"I love you," Peter whispered in her ear. "Even if you can't read my mind."

Willow shivered and hugged him tight. "I love you. Even when your mind is unscrutible."

"It's probably a good thing," Peter pointed out, staying very close. "Because you already have too many thoughts. Adding mine even if they are few might be a bit of a cacophony."

Willow hugged him tighter, in part due to some of the too many thoughts she'd been having this week. "I wouldn't mind. I like having you around."

"I'm incredibly surprised. That's awfully circular," Peter smiled.

"How terribly unlike us," Willow said. For some reason she said this with a fake posh accent.

Peter chuckled. "Rather," he agreed in a much higher class accent than his own.

Willow giggled. She bumped her nose against his cheek. "You make me smiley."

"I can turn any frowns upside down?" he laughed before turning to kiss the tip of her nose.

"No, just mine," Willow replied, teasing. "I told you how I feel about you and other girls."
